HP MBBS/BDS Admission: Selection Process
- It is mandatory to qualify NEET exam for admission in MBBS/BDS courses.
- NEET qualified candidates have to attend NEET counselling for admission in respective course.
- Seat allotment is purely a merit-cum-choice process which is applicable to all candidates.
- Candidate must appear in counselling on the scheduled date and time personally.
- Candidates have to fill the online application form on the official website within the stipulated time limit.
- The counselling authority will assess the candidates NEET score and rank and accordingly will prepare the State merit list.
- Candidate must report to the designated centre/institute as per the scheduled date and time.
- No separate letter will be issued to any individual for attending the counselling.
- The competent authority will also verify the original documents of the candidates before final admission.
- Thereafter, selected candidates will get admission letter which students can download from the official website.
- Now candidates should report to the allotted college for completing admission formalities.

Himachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2021: Reservation Criteria
The reservation in the state of Himachal Pradesh for admission in medical/dental courses will be applicable as per the current reservation rule of Central/State Government. Candidates seeking the benefit of reservation must produce the relevant document in support of the claim of belonging to the reserved category candidate. If anyone failed to produce respective document then he/she will be not eligible under reserved category candidate and may be treated as a general candidate.
