AYUSH Centralized Counselling schedule for UG admissions 2020-21 will be released online on the official website. The candidates should know that the centralized counselling will be conducted by the Ministry of AYUSH. The registration process may start from the month of June 2020. For State Quota counselling, the candidates should approach to the Education Department of the State or Central University of the State or any Government Ayurvedic college for Counselling details including registration dates.

What’s New About AYUSH Admission 2020

This year AYUSH UG/PG admission will be held on the basis of State Counselling as well as Centralized Counselling. The State will conduct Counselling for 85% seats while the remaining 15% seats will be filled on the basis of Centralised Counselling. The Ministry of AYUSH will constitute a committee which will conduct Counselling for 15% seats. AYUSH UG Admission 2020: Centralized Counselling Schedule

The Ministry of AYUSH will publish the official notification on its official website regarding the AYUSH UG admission 2020-21 centralized counselling schedule. The AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) will conduct the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats in Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy colleges throughout the country. AYUSH Counselling Fee 2020

All the candidates who are going to register online for admission in AYUSH UG courses need to make payment of registration fee or counselling fee. Candidates can make payment using net banking, credit/debit card. After making payment, keep receipt of the payment slip safely for future reference. Check fee structure below:

  • General/OBC candidates who are applying for AIQ Government/Government Aided colleges, need to pay Rs. 1000/- as registration fee plus Rs.10000/- as security money. However, SC/ST/PWD candidates need to pay Rs.500/-  as registration fee plus Rs.10000/- as security money. 
  • Similarly, those who want to apply for Private colleges/Deemed Universities, need to pay Rs.5000/- as registration fee and Rs.50000/- as security money. 
  • Here, it is very important to mention that the security money will be refunded to the applicants later. The registration fee is non-refundable in nature.

AYUSH UG Counselling 2020-21: Procedure

There is no need to worry as we will inform you about the counselling procedure for BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS admission 2020. Candidates must be aware that there is no role of NEET counselling committee in AYUSH UG courses counselling. A separate counselling will be held for AYUSH UG admission 2020 throughout the country. The respective State Government and Ministry of AYSH will conduct Counselling for admission in different Government/Private Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani and Homoeopathy Colleges of the State. How to register for BAMS counselling 2020?

Students, for admission in BAMS courses, you must appear in the counselling process. The counselling will be conducted by each State Government separately for admission in their respective State. The Ministry of AYUSH has no direct role in the counselling process.

What is the procedure for AYUSH Counselling 2020? Should we register for NEET Counselling 2020?

Counselling for AYUSH UG courses will be held separately. It is a State subject and the concerned State Government will conduct counselling. However, there is a Central Counselling also for 15% seats for which Ministry of AYUSH will publish notification. There is no requirement for registration in NEET UG Counselling 2020.

Sir, is it necessary to qualify the NEET? Can I take admission without appearing in Counselling?

It is very clear that applicants must be NEET qualified. Mere appearance in the NEET exam does not authorize any students to claim admission in college. The Central Government has strictly directed all the State Authorities to follow the rules.

No admission will be granted without appearing in the counselling. Candidates must go through the counselling process of the State.

How to get admission in BAMS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS courses after qualifying NEET?

After qualifying the NEET exam, candidates have to through State Counselling. As per their rank, candidates will be allotted colleges and course.

Can I apply for admission to other State?

Yes, you can apply but you must go through the counselling guidelines of the concerned State and ensure if they are asking for domicile certificate or not. If not then you can apply. However, candidates can apply for 15% All India Quota seats for which centralized Counselling will be conducted by Ministry of AYUSH.

What is the process of admission in National Institute like NIA, Jaipur, NIUM, Bangalore, NIH, Kolkata etc.?

The admission in these institutes will also be held through counselling. However, the counselling will be conducted by the respective university from where the Institute is affiliated.
