UTET 2021 Eligibility criteria
The candidates must fulfil the minimum basic eligibility requirements in order to appear in the Uttarakhand TET exam. Check the following information with regard to the UTET eligibility criteria 2021:
UTET Paper I Eligibility (Primary Teacher)
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with not less than 50% aggregate marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with at least 45% aggregate marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with the NCTE.
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam securing not less than 50% marks in aggregate with 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
UTET Paper-II Eligibility (Upper Primary Teacher)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with not less than 50% aggregate marks and 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
- Graduation or equivalent with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with the NCTE.
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam with not less than 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
- Senior Secondary or equivalent exam scoring at least 50% marks and 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed or BA.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education).

Uttarakhand TET 2021 Exam Pattern
The candidates can check UTET 2021 exam pattern below. Information about examination pattern is very important for the preparation for the exam. Check the following information carefully:
- Mode of exam: The UTET exam is an offline exam i.e. Pen and Paper Based exam. OMR sheet will be provided to mark answers.
- Exam duration: It will be 2.30 Hours.
- Language: The question paper will be bilingual i.e. English and Hindi (except for the language section).
- Number of questions: There will be total 150 questions in each paper.
- Type of question: All the questions will be multiple choice in nature.
- Max marks: Each question paper will be of 150 marks.
- Marking scheme: 1 mark will be granted for each correct response.
- Negative marking: There will be no negative marking in this exam.

UTET 2021 Admit Card
The eligible candidates will be issued UTET admit card through online mode. Candidates can obtain the admit card from the website very easily. The official website of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) is https://ukutet.com/. Candidates have to login to the website for downloading the admit card. After downloading the admit card, candidates should take a printout of the same for further reference.
It is recommended that the candidates must check the particulars of the admit card carefully. If there is any mistake then report the same within the specified time limit. Admit card will consist of information like candidate’s name, father name, roll number, address, date of exam, venue of exam and exam day instructions etc. Read all the instructions carefully.
