NMMS Exam 2021-22: The National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme. The Ministry of HRD, Government of India through the Department of School Education & Literacy awards NMMS Scholarship to the eligible candidates of class 8th. The Scheme is basically aimed to strengthen the economically weaker section by providing scholarships to meritorious students. The applicants have to qualify the written exam for obtaining the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS). Students can apply for NMMS Scholarship through online mode. It is pertinent to mention here that the candidates must have passed 8th class with at least 55% score for applying to NMMS scholarship 2021-22.
The NMMS scholarship 2021 application form is likely to be available from 15th November 2021. Students of KVS, NVS, Sainik School and Privates Schools are not eligible for the NMMS exam as per the norms.
