NIFT 2018 Application Form
Aspirants can fill NIFT application form 2018 through online mode at official website. Students who are meeting the eligibility criteria can check following information:
- Candidates can fill NIFT application form through online mode only.
- The registration process has been started from 20th October, 2017.
- Interested candidates can apply till 29th December, 2017 without late fee. After that one need to pay late fee of Rs.5000/- till 2nd January, 2018.
- Access the official website and register yourself and fill the application form.
- Candidates should maintain a valid e-mail ID and mobile number for correspondence.
- Applicants have to upload scanned images such as recent photograph and signature in JPEG format.
- Pay necessary application fee to complete the application process.
- Candidate should note that after last date, there will be late fee of Rs.5000/- for submitting application.

Application Fee
The application fee for NIFT application is Rs.1500/- for general category candidates and reserved category candidates need to pay Rs.750/- only. Candidate can pay application fee through both online (Debit/Credit card, Net Banking) and offline mode (Demand Draft). The Demand Draft should be made in favour of ‘NIFT HO’ payable at New Delhi. Those who opt Demand Draft option to pay application fee should send printout of filled in application along with DD at the following address:

NIFT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check eligibility criteria in detail before making NIFT application form. The eligibility criteria for both UG and PG courses are as under:
Eligibility criteria for UG courses
- Age Criteria: Candidate’s age should not be more than 23 years. Reserve category candidates will get age relaxation of 5 year in upper age limit as per rules.
- Academic Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent exam from a recognised university/institute. Candidate appearing in qualifying exam are also eligible to make application but there result should be declared before commencement of academic session.
Eligibility criteria for PG courses
- Age Criteria: There is no upper age criterion for appearing in NIFT 2018.
- Educational Qualification: Candidate should hold bachelor’s degree from a recognised university/institute.
- Those who are appearing in qualifying exam can also apply.
- NIFT/NID diploma holder are also eligible to apply.
NIFT Application Form 2018: How to Apply

- Visit official website of the NIFT to access application form link.
- Click on the respective link and read the instructions in detail.
- Fill the personal details like candidate’s name, father name, date of birth, e-mail ID, mobile number, desired programme etc. whatever asked therein.
- Login with user ID and password and proceed for filling up application form.
- Fill all the details asked in the application form correctly.
- Click on save button to save entries and go for next step.
- Now upload your scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- The image should be in JPEG format and the size should not exceed to 50 KB.
- Make payment of application fee whatever applicable.
- Submit the application form after verifying all entries and take at least one printout of the application form for future reference.
