Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria of Nalanda Open University Admission 2022 for various courses are different as given below:
- Master’s Degree in Arts Subjects (2 years degree course): The candidate must have a Bachelor or equivalent degree in any subject.
- Master’s Degree in Science Subject (2 years): Applicant should have a Bachelor or equivalent degree in a relevant science subject.
- MLIS (1 year): Must have passed BLIS.
- MCA (3 years): The candidate must possess BCA/ B.Sc (Computer Science) or Bachelor’s degree with Maths as a subject.
- PG Diploma Courses (1 year): Aspirants should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- BA/ B.Com (3 years): Applicants must pass the 10+2 examination in any stream.
- Sc (3 years): The candidate should pass the 10+2 exam in science stream only.
- BCA: Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 exam with Mathematics or an IA certification exam in computing.
- Intermediate: Student should have cleared the Matriculation or equivalent exam.
- Certificate Course: Aspirants need to clear 10th or 12th as per the requirement of each course.
Nalanda Open University Admission 2022: Application Form
The admission process of Nalanda Open University will take place in both online and offline mode. The details of both these modes are as follows:
Nalanda Open University Offline Admission
- In this process, the aspirants have to get prospectus cum registration form 2022 directly from the university head office or study center.
- Alternatively, applicants can get the application form via post on the payment of Rs. 500/- in the form of a bank draft. The bank draft should be drawn in favour Nalanda Open University, Patna.
- After that, the candidates have to fill the details and attach all the documents to the registration/ application form.
- Then, the candidates can complete the registration by submitting the form along with the admission fee. Please note that that admission fee will be paid either via bank draft or SBI collect only.
- The students who will register themselves at the university head office will get registration receipt, admit card and study material on the same day.
- On the other hand, candidates who will register at the study centers will get these documents at the study center once the registration process gets over.
Online Admission process
- For online admission, the aspirants first have to visit the official website of Nalanda Open University i.e. www.nalandaopenuniversity.
- Then, they have to pay the registration fee of Rs. 450/- via SBI Collect.
- After successfully paying the registration fee, the students have to fill the necessary details in the application form.
- Along with the details, the applicants need to upload the scanned images of the following document.

- Fee payment receipt.
