Bihar TET Eligibility Criteria
The aspirants should check all the prescribed norms regarding Bihar TET eligibility criteria. The Bihar School Education Board will publish a detailed information bulletin on its website. Eligibility for Primary Teacher (Class 1 – 5: Paper I)
- The candidates should have completed graduation along with two year diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with at least 45% marks OR
- Those who have completed B.Sc./BA with at least 50% marks and have B.Ed. qualification can also apply.
- Intermediate passed with minimum 50% marks and 4-year course in elementary education training.
Eligibility for Junior High School Teacher (Class 6th – 8th: Paper-II)
- Candidates having B.Sc./BA degree with minimum 50% marks and completed B.Ed. programme are eligible to apply.
- Those who have completed B.Ed. with minimum 50% marks/passed or appearing in last semester of four years B.El.Ed. (Bachelor in Elementary Education)/four-year BA/B.Sc., B.Ed. or BA (Ed.)/BSC (Ed.)/B.Ed. (Special Education) with minimum 50% marks are also eligible.
Age Limit Criteria
- The age of the applicants must not exceed 35 years.
- However, there is some age relaxation for reserved categories and female candidates.
- The maximum age of the OBC Male/Female candidates should not be more than 38 years.
- SC/ST candidates should not exceed 40 years of age criteria.

- The competent authority will issue admit card at least two or three weeks prior to the date of the exam.

Bihar TET 2021 Result
The BSEB i.e. the competent authority will assess the candidates’ written exam performance and will prepare a merit list. The merit list or result will be issued through online mode. Candidates have to visit the official website for downloading the Bihar TET 2021 result.
Candidates need to enter their user ID and password for accessing the result. Download the result and take a printout of the same for future reference. The Bihar TET result will contain information about candidate score and qualifying status. Qualified candidates will receive a TET certificate subject to verification of original documents.
