The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is the exam conducting authority for UP Teacher Eligibility Test. Candidates willing to join Primary and Upper Primary Schools as a teacher in the state of Uttar Pradesh must appear in the UPTET exam. It is a state-level teaching entrance exam which is a pre-requisite to qualifying this test for the teaching job at primary or junior high school level.
The candidates who are meeting the eligibility requirement for the UPTET exam must apply online as per the prescribed schedule. Age Limit
The candidates should fulfil the age limit criteria in order to appear in the exam. Candidates’ age must be within 18 to 35 years. However, reserved category candidates will be eligible to get age relaxation under the current reservation rules. Check category wise age limit criteria below:

The candidates can download the admit card from the official website as the competent authority will issue UPTET admit card via online mode. UPTET admit card will be available at least two or three weeks before the date of the exam. Candidates have to put their registration number and date of birth on the concerned page for downloading the admit card.
Take the printout of the admit card keep it safe for taking the exam. Must carry admit card on the day of the exam as it is mandatory for getting entry in the exam hall.
The competent authority after conducting the Uttar Pradesh TET exam will declare the result in due course of time. It is expected that the result will be announced within one or two months later from the date of exam. The aspirants are required to access the official website for obtaining the result.
After visiting the website, enter your roll number and date of birth in the given field and download the result. Candidates’ result/score will be provided on the scorecard. Eligible candidates can participate in teaching recruitment on the basis of UP TET certificate.
