MAT 2022: Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is an entrance examination for admission in management courses. It is regulated by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The exam is a national level entrances test which held four times in a year in the month of February, May, September and December. Interested candidates who are willing to pursue management programme such as MBA and PGDM can appear in MAT. There is a significant number of Universities/Institutions which considers MAT score for admission in management courses. All the applicants should be aware that without having requisite eligibility criteria they can’t apply for MAT 2022 exam. Everyone must fulfil prescribed norms for appearing in the test. The MAT eligibility requirements are as below:

All the aspirants should have conversant with the examination scheme. The information about the exam pattern is very-very crucial for cracking the exam. The examination pattern means information about the exam such as the number of questions, duration of the exam, syllabus, marking scheme etc. Candidates can check a brief overview of the exam pattern in the table below:

The candidates must prepare as per the prescribed syllabus. Candidates can check the previous year question papers for having a clear picture of the syllabus and important topics of the paper. The main topic of the syllabus will be Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Indian & Global Environment, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematics Skills and Language Comprehension. Candidates must hold strong command of these subjects for scoring good marks in the exam.
The candidates can obtain the admit card from the official website. It will be available in the month of January 2022. Visit the official website and download your admit card by entering the online application number and date of birth. The admit card for both online and offline test will be generated separately. Candidates should take a printout of the admit card and must bring admit card on the day of the exam. Candidates should note that the authority will not send a hard copy of the admit card to any individual.
The exam regulating authority will declare MAT 2022 result one or two weeks later from the exam. Candidates can download their result from the website by putting necessary information i.e. roll number and date of birth in the given field. Take the printout of the result and keep it safe for future reference.
The competent authority will issue MAT scores to each applicant via post. Candidates can expect their scorecard after 20 days from the exam. The MAT score is valid for the current academic session only hence candidates should apply without any delay. There are almost 600 management colleges in India, which consider MAT scores for admission in Management programmes. Take a printout of the scorecard and keep it with you for future reference.
The candidates should know the admission process after qualifying the test. After the announcement of the result, approach participating Management institutes along with the scorecard. Candidates have to apply for the respective institutes which are participating in the admission.
The different-different institutions have their own admission rules which candidates should follow. Final admission of the candidates will be made on the basis of their performance in the written exam, Group Discussion, and Interview/Counselling. Generally, the selection process includes Group Discussion, Personal Interview and/or Written Ability Test (WAT).
