Madras University 2022 Application Form
The application form for Madras University Admission 2022 will be made available on the official university website www.unom.ac.in. It is expected that the form will release in the month of April 2022 and the candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can fill it online.
- In the application form, the basic personal and educational details of the candidates will be asked.
- Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and a signature will also be uploaded into the form.
- Once all the details are entered correctly, the candidates should take a printout of the filled in application form.
- Candidates should then make payment of the application fee after which they can submit the hard copy of the application form.
- Along with the form, the candidates must also enclose photocopies of necessary certificates.
- These documents must be sent to the Head of the Department in which the applicant is seeking admission.

- The cost of application of Rs. 354/- payment made in online mode through State Bank Collect.
- Payment receipt should be enclosed along with the hard copy of the filled-in application form.

Madras University 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should check course-wise eligibility criteria details with respect to Madras University Admission 2022. After satisfying the eligibility conditions, candidates should go ahead for submitting the application form:
- MA Ancient History & Archaeology: A candidate with a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university can apply.
- MA Defence & Strategic Studies: Those with BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com degree in any branch except Indian Music, Western Music, Book Industry, Drawing and Painting, Languages (other than English), Oriental Cultures, Tourism, Corporate Secretary-ship and Home Science are eligible.
- MA Public Administration: The applicants should have done BA in Public Administration/ Political Science or any other degree recognized by the university.
- Executive MBA: Candidates shall have passed a Bachelor’s Degree with 55% marks to be eligible for admission. Minimum 2 years of professional work experience is also required.
- Phil Historical Studies: Master’s degree in History or Ancient History & Archeology is required.
- Phil Political Science: Candidates should hold a master’s degree in Political Science/ Public Administration in order to be eligible.
- PG Diploma in Technical Writing: Any graduate with good command over English can apply for admission into this course.
- PG Diploma in Counseling Psychology: Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities & Social Sciences is required. Those with a degree in health care and working in hospitals or Organizations Teachers working in the schools/ special schools with a minimum of 2 years experience are eligible too.
- Diploma in Manuscriptology: Any degree with basic knowledge of Sanskrit or pass in an equivalent Sanskrit examination is required to be eligible.
- Diploma in Hindi: Those who have cleared their class 12th with Hindi or passed class 12th with certificate course in Hindi or equivalent are eligible.
- Certificate in Yoga: Pass in 10+2 examination or equivalent thereto is required.
Admit Card
- Admit card for the entrance exam will be generated after submission of the printed copy of the online application to the respective departments.
- Candidates can download their hall tickets from the university website by entering the registered mobile number as user id and date of birth as password.
- The applicants must carry a printout of the admit card to the exam center or else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
- No admit card will be sent through post, courier or any other means.
- It is advised that the candidates should preserve their admit card till the complete process of admission is over.
Madras University Result 2022
- The result of the entrance exam will be declared through online mode on the official website of the university.
- The candidates will be able to check their result using details such as roll number, date of birth, etc.
- On the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and the qualifying exam, merit lists will be drawn.
- For the courses for which no entrance is conducted, the mist list will be drawn on the basis of qualifying exam marks only.
- Separate merit lists will be prepared for admissions into different courses.
Madras University Counseling 2022
- On the basis the names of the candidates in the merit list, counseling process will commence.
- At the time of counseling, the original documents and eligibility of the candidates will be verified.
- Once verified successfully, the candidates will be allotted seats according to their rank and choice made.
- Selected candidates should report to the allotted institute and complete the formalities of admission.
