KVPY 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must meet the prescribed eligibility conditions in order to apply for KVPY Scholarship 2022:
Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
For SA Stream:
- Qualifying Exam: The applicants must have passed the 10th class from a recognized school/board.
- Subjects: Candidates should have science and mathematics subjects in the 10th class.
- Percentage Required: Minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category candidates) are required in the 10th class.
- Appearing candidates: Those who are studying in the 10th class can also apply.
For SX Stream:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed the 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognized school/board.
- Subjects: Science stream subjects (PCM/PCB) in the 12th standard.
- Percentage Required: Applicants must obtain minimum 75% marks (65% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- Appearing candidates: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class or appeared in the 12th exam and waiting for the result can also eligible to apply.
For SB Stream:
- Qualifying Exam: Those who are studying in the first year of graduation degree can apply.
- Subjects: Students having a UG degree in basic science should have science subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology leading to B.Start/B.Sc./B.S./Int.M.Sc./Int.MS.
- Percentage Required: Minimum 60% marks (50% for reserved category candidates) are required in the qualifying exam.
KVPY Application Form 2022
The candidates have to go through certain steps in order to fill an online KVPY 2022 application form. Check step by step by guide below:
- The applicants need to submit the application form via online mode.
- Remember, there will no hard copy of the application form.
- The applicants have to fill basic information such as name, father, date of birth, contact details for completing the registration process.
- It is expected that the KVPY 2022 application form will be available from the 2nd week of July 2022.
- Enter the personal information, qualification details, address, etc. in the application form.
- Upload the scanned photograph, signature, and other required certificates as per the instructions.

KVPY Syllabus
The competent authority will prepare a question paper based on qualifying exam subjects and other aptitude questions to judge the candidate’s analytical ability. The candidates should prepare for the exam as per the prescribed syllabus. Candidates must go through the syllabus of the qualifying exam and read all the topics carefully.
KVPY Preparation Tips 2022
The candidates should follow the preparation tips as mentioned below:
- First, understand the exam pattern and prescribed syllabus.
- Solve online mock tests for better preparation.
- Candidates can also check previous year’s questions papers for better understanding.

KVPY 2022 Admit Card
The candidates have to access the official website for downloading the admit card. The KVPY 2022 admit card is expected to be available in the second week of October 2022. Candidates need to login on the website for downloading the admit card. KVPY admit card will consist of information like name, address, exam centre, date of exam etc.
Apart from carrying admit card, candidates also need to carry college/school ID or other ID proof for appearing in the exam. Those who failed to carry admit card will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
KVPY Answer Key
- The competent authority will issue answer keys through online mode.
- Question paper and respective answer keys will be available online on the website.
- Answer keys will be available in PDF format.
- After obtaining the answer key, candidates can count their expected score in the exam.
KVPY 2022 Result
The result of the KVPY 2022 exam will be released online on the official website. It is likely to be released in the third week of December 2022. The competent authority will prepare a merit list as per the respective stream (SA, SB, and SX) and will be placed online on the website.
Applicants have to score minimum qualifying marks in the exam for passing the exam. Candidates need to enter user ID and password for login on the website. Then click on the respective result link and download the result. Take the printout of the result and follow further directions.
KVPY Cut Off 2022
The competent authority will issue KVPY cut-off marks for all categories and streams. The applicants must obtain the minimum qualifying marks or cut-off marks to pass the aptitude test.

KVPY 2022 Counselling: Selection Procedure
