Eligibility Criteria for Admission in IITs, NITs, CFTIs
Candidates must score 75% marks in the 12th examination or should be in the top 20 percentile in the respective board for admission in IITs, NITs and CFTIs. However, SC/ST candidates are required to score at least 65% marks.
The candidates must check the JEE Main 2022 information brochure carefully and read all the information. Those who are meeting the above-mentioned eligibility requirements can apply for JEE Main. Check the following guidelines to make JEE Main Application Form:
Candidates have to pay the required application fee for the completion of the application process. Application fees can be submitted through net banking, debit/credit card or through e-Challan. The fee structure for JEE Main 2022 is as under:

Note: Candidates should submit only one application form. More than one application will not be considered. You are also advised to apply online only after satisfying the eligibility requirements. Do not conceal any information while filling up the online application form. Any candidate found misleading the authority, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately.
First of all, we advise all the students to be careful while filling up the online application form. Candidates should fill out the application form completely without having mistakes. If anyone submits the application form with some errors, the authority will give them chance to make corrections to the application form. However, candidates can change or modify only some of the particulars. Therefore, the candidate should re-check the application form before clicking on the submit button.
Candidates should know the examination pattern of the JEE Main. You have to prepare according to the exam pattern and syllabus of the exam. The entrance exam will consist of two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Check the following information carefully:

Candidates should make a proper strategy to crack the JEE Main 2022 exam. Here are the tips for better preparation:
JEE Main 2022 Syllabus will be different for both papers. Paper-I will include the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics whereas Paper-II will consist of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing. Paper-I will be based on the 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Candidates can prepare from the 11th and 12th standard books. However, for detailed topics candidates should check the official notification from the official website.
The candidates who have successfully submitted the JEE Main 2022 application form will get the admit card prior to the examination. Admit Card will be available on the official website probably in the first week of March 2022.
The candidate can download the admit card with the help of required information such as roll number and details of the 12th class or its equivalent exam. Candidates should keep the following things in mind:
On successful completion of the JEE Main 2022 exam, the NTA will publish the answer keys and scanned copy of the OMR sheet for both Paper-I and Paper-II in the month of April 2022. Candidates can check the same from the official website.
Now, with the help of answer keys and an OMR sheet, candidates can check their answers and also can calculate the expected score. If someone found any discrepancy in the answer keys, he/she can approach the concerned authority by paying Rs.1000/question.
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of JEE Main cut off marks. Cut-off marks will be released after completion of the exam.
Based on cut-off marks, qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. The score below cut off marks means the candidate failed to qualify for the exam.
