Haryana TET 2021: Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, HTET Exam Date

Haryana TET 2021 notification will be released online. The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a state-level exam for those who are seeking teaching jobs in the state. The Board of School Education, Haryana is the exam conducting authority, which conducts entrance test on an annual basis. Candidates who are fulfilling minimum basic eligibility conditions can apply online for the HTET exam. It is mandatory to qualify for the exam in order to obtain a Teacher Eligibility Certificate issued by the concerned state authority. HTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

  • For Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I): Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45% marks with two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) / four years B.El.Ed / two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education OR
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years Diploma in Elementary Education. Appearing candidates can also apply.
  • For Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper-II): Those who are having bachelor’s degrees (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com etc.) along with two years Ed./ B.Ed. programme OR
  • Four years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. OR
  • A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with at least 50% marks. Appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
  • For Lecturers of Class XI-XII (Paper III): Applicants must have  PG Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.

Age Limit: The candidate’s age must be within 18 to 38 years for applying to Haryana TET.

Haryana TET 2021 Application Form

  • The competent authority will release HTET 2021 application form through online mode.
  • Candidates have to access the official website to submit the HTET application form.
  • It is expected that the registration process for HTET 2021 will commence from the month of August 2021. Eligible candidates must apply before the last date.
  • Click on the application link available on the official website.
  • Fill in all the information such as personal information, qualification details and address etc. in the application form.
  • The e-mail ID and mobile number of the candidate must be functional till the completion of the exam.
  • Upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature as per the given specifications.
  • Pay the requisite application fee through online mode as it is a mandatory requirement.
  • Submit the application form at the end and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Application Fee

The payment of the application fee is a mandatory requirement. Candidates can make payment through online modes like net banking, credit/debit card etc. The category wise fee details are as below:

  • General/UR Category: Rs.600/-
  • For Reserve Category: Rs.300/-
  • For Other candidates and other states candidates: Rs.600/-

HTET Exam Pattern

The applicants should be conversant with the prescribed exam pattern. Information about exam pattern will be helpful in the preparation of the exam. There will be three papers in this exam, the details of the HTET exam pattern are as below:

  • Paper I: For teacher at classes I to V (Primary Teacher).
  • Paper-II: For teachers for classes VI to VIII (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher)
  • Paper III: For PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)

Paper 1- Primary Teacher for Class 1 to 5th

  • All the questions will be multiple-choice questions in the exam.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark and 1 mark will be given for every correct response.
  • There is no negative marking in this exam.
  • The duration of the HTET exam will be 2.30 hours.
  • The syllabus of the paper will be as per the following manner:

  • The duration of the paper will be 2.30 hours.
  • Applicants need to mark the correct answers among the available choices.
  • The subject and distribution of questions will be as per the following:

Haryana TET 2021 Admit Card

  • The competent authority will publish HTET admit card on its official website.
  • Candidates can obtain admit card from the official website.
  • Admit card will be available online at least two weeks prior to the exam date.
  • Enter registration number and date of birth for downloading the admit card.
  • It is mandatory to bring admit card for appearing in the exam.

HTET Result 2021

The Haryana TET result 2021 will be released through online mode. Candidates have to visit the official website for accessing the result. Results can be downloaded easily from the website by entering the roll number and date of birth. Take a printout of the result after downloading the same.

Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in order to qualify HTET exam. Qualified candidates will be awarded by teacher eligibility certificate which will be verified for a period of 7 years.
