Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Admission 2022: The Guru Ravidas Ayurved University (GRAU), Hoshiarpur, Punjab was established by the Punjab Government with an aim to promote AYUSH in the State of Punjab and Country. It starts functioning from the month of February 2012 and now, GRAU is one of the prestigious Ayurved Universities in the country. Guru Ravidas Ayurved University 2022 Admission Highlights
- There will be no entrance exam conducted at university level for admission in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS courses.
- Admissions will be granted to the eligible candidates on the basis of NEET 2022 performance.
- The University will conduct counselling for allotting admission to the eligible and meritorious candidates.
- In this regard, the GRAU will publish notification for inviting application form.
- Mode of application will be online and there is no need to send hard copy of the application form or any other document to the university.

- No request for accepting the admission application forms after due date will be entertained.
- Without registration, no candidates will be allowed to take part in the counselling round.

- Candidates who want to apply under NRI quota will have to obtain provisional eligibility/ equivalency certificate from the GRAU, Hoshiarpur and qualify NEET.
GRAU Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Admission 2022 are given below:
- For BAMS: The candidates must have cleared their class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects scoring minimum aggregate marks of 50%.
- For BHMS: Passed in class 12th with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with Mathematics or any other elective subjects is required. Candidates who have passed intermediate exam in Science or pre-professional/ pre-medical exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible too.
- For BUMS: For admission to Kamil-E-Tib. O Jarahat course, applicants should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and class 10th with Urdu/ Persian/ Arabic as one of the subjects. Those who have not studied Urdu subjects will have to appear for an Urdu test conducted by the university.
Note: Apart from the above basic eligibility conditions, candidates must qualify the NEET exam in order to appear in the counselling process.
Guru Ravidas University 2022 Application Form
Application form for Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Admission 2022 will be made available on the admission portal grauadmission.smartpad.in. The candidates will have to provide their NEET roll number and date of birth to access the application form.
- In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their details such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, email id, phone number, etc.
- Academic details and the details of the NEET exam will also be asked in the application form.
- Once these details are entered, the candidates should click on the ‘submit’ button to make submission of application form.
- A reference number and password will be generated after these details are submitted online.
- Using the reference number and password, the candidates can login to upload scanned copies of photograph, signature and other documents as required.
- After uploading the scanned documents, the applicants have to make payment of application fee.
- The candidates should take a printout of the filled application form and keep it safe for future reference.
Application fee:
- The candidates of general category will have to pay Rs. 4600/- and SC candidates need to pay Rs. 3750/- as application fee.
- Payment of application can be done online using debit card, credit card or net banking.
GRAU Merit List
- Candidates after successful payment of the application fee will be allowed to provide the choice for the course in which they seek enrollment (online counseling).
- On the basis of the choice and marks obtained in the NEET 2022, the respective authorities will prepare a merit list.
- The list will be prepared in the order of ranking and separately for admission in BAMS, BHMS and BUMS courses.
- Merit list will be released on the official website of the university and candidates can check it from there.
- Shortlisted applicants, whose names appear in the merit list, will have to participate in the counseling and admission round.

- Candidates shortlisted for admission will have to report to the university along with their documents in original and photocopy (offline or physical counseling).
- Certificates and eligibility of the candidates will be verified at the time of reporting for the counselling session.
- Only after successful verification, the candidates will be granted final admission into the university/affiliated college.
- Selected candidates will have to make payment of the prescribed admission fee and complete rest formalities.
- Payment of admission fee can be done via demand draft drawn in favor of Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, payable at Hoshiarpur.
