As stated above, the CDS 2022 exam is a two-tier exam. In the first tier, the written exam is conducted and in the second tier, an interview and the personality test organized. The qualified candidates on the basis of written exam performance will get chance to appear in SSB interview. The SSB interview is an intelligence and personality test of the candidates. The process includes two stages which are as under:
Stage-I: This stage comprises Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in OIR and PP&DT.
Stage II: In this section, the candidate has to go through Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the conference. The entire process will take at least 4 days. The Interviewing Officer (IO), Group Testing Officer (GTO) and Psychologist will assess the personality of candidates. There is no separate weightage for each test.
