Bihar ITI Admission 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants are required to ensure their eligibility before submitting the online application form. The candidates must meet the minimum basic eligibility requirement for the concerned ITI trade/discipline. The minimum eligibility requirements are:
Age Criteria
- As of 1st August 2022, the minimum age of the candidate should be at least 14 years.
- However, for Mechanic Tractor and Motor Vehicle Trade, the minimum age of the applicant should be 17 years.
- There is no upper age limit specified for the candidates.
Academic Qualification
- 10th class passed with Mathematics and Science subject from the Bihar School Examination Board/CBSE or passed the equivalent exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry separately.
- Candidates appearing in the 10th class examination in the 2021-22 session can also apply for Bihar ITI Admission 2022. However, candidates must qualify the exam and produce the certificate at the time of counselling.
- For admission in IT sector programmes, the candidate must have completed the 10th (High school) examination or any equivalent exam with science subjects.
- Candidates who passed the 10th class exam or equivalent exam only can apply for enrolment in non-engineering programmes.
Nationality/Domicile Criteria
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- The candidates whose parents are permanent residents of Bihar.
- Candidates whose parents are an employee of the Bihar Government.
- Applicants whose parents are Central Government employees and posted in the State are also eligible.
- A woman candidate whose husband is a resident of Bihar and working in Bihar can apply on the basis of her husband’s domicile certificate.
Bihar ITICAT Application Form 2022: How to apply?
Aspirants are recommended to apply only after verifying eligibility conditions prescribed by the examination conducting authority. As mentioned above, the registration process for Bihar ITICAT 2022 exam has been started online on 5th April 2022 and it will close on 2nd May 2022. Those who will meet the eligibility requirements can submit the Bihar ITICAT application form as per the following instructions:
- Access the official website of the BCECEB i.e. http://www.bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ and click on ITICAT 2022 to download the prospectus.
- Click on the link “Apply for ITICAT 2022” for making an online application.
- Go for registration and provide the required information in the given field.
- Now, you will get a unique registration ID and password at the registered email ID on successful completion of registration.
- Log in using your registration ID and password and fill in all your personal information.
- Upload the good quality scanned passport size photograph and signature (in Hindi and English both) in the given space and click on submit button.
- Click on the “Fill the Educational Information” link and fill in the educational information.
- Candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee through Bank Challan or Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking.
- General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.750/-, SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.100/- and Disabled candidates have to pay Rs.430/- as an examination fee.
- Now candidates have to download Part-A and Part-B of the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference as it will be required during counselling.
- There is no need to send a hard copy of the application form to the BCECEB.
Bihar ITICAT Exam Pattern

- Bihar ITICAT 2022 will consist of a single question paper having multiple-choice questions.
- The question paper will contain a total of 150 questions with 300 marks.

Bihar ITI Counselling 2022
The authority will send the invitation to the successful candidates to appear before the counselling committee in the respective institute. Candidates have to report on the scheduled date and time. Appearing in the ITICAT does not mean anyone can get admission. The candidate must attend the counselling process. The authority will verify the eligibility of the individual candidate before giving the final approval of admission.
