BHU UET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are looking for appearing in BHU UET 2021 exam, should ensure their eligibility to appear in the exam first. Check the following information in respect of BHU UET eligibility criteria:

  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 (intermediate) from a recognized institute/board.
  • Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply subject to the condition that they should qualify the exam.
  • Candidate applying for any UG course should have studied that subject at 10+2 level.

B. Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics Group
  • 12th standard or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/institute.
  • There should be Physics & Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Geology, Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Geography.
  • Candidates should have scored at least 50% marks aggregate.
B. Sc. (Hons.) Bio Group
  • 10+2 or equivalent examination passed with Physics & Chemistry subjects and any one of the subjects among Biology, Geography and Geology.
  • Minimum 50% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam.
B.Com (Hons.)/B.Com (Hons.) Financial Markets Management
  • 10+2 or equivalent examination passed with minimum 50% marks aggregate from a recognized board/institute.
  • Candidates should have one of the subjects among Commerce/Mathematics/ Economics/Computer Science/ Financial Markets Management/Finance/ Vocational courses (related to Commerce) in the qualifying exam.
BA (Hons.) Arts
  • 12th standard or equivalent qualification with minimum 50% marks aggregate.
LLB (Hons.)
  • Completed B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./Shastri with 10+2+3 pattern from a recognized university.
  • Candidates should have obtained minimum 50% marks aggregate (40% for reserved category candidates).
  • Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years as on 1st July 2021. However, reserved category candidates are eligible to seek 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit.

BHU UET Application Form 2021

All the applicants who are going to fill up BHU UET 2021 application form, must ensure eligibility criteria as mentioned above. The important guidelines for submitting BHU UET application form are as below:

  • The BHU UET 2021 application form will be available online at the official portal of the BHU.
  • The submission of application form may start from 2nd week of February 2021. Candidate can access application form till 2nd week of March 2021.
  • First register online and fill the application form with all details such as name, parent name, date of birth, academic qualification and address etc.
  • Upload your recent passport size photograph and signature with prescribed specifications.
  • Pay application fee whichever is applicable to complete the application form.
  • At the end check all the particulars in the application form and submit the application form and take the printout of the same for future reference.

Application Fee

The applicants must pay the requisite application fee in order to complete the application form. Payment can be done through online mode via net banking, debit/credit card. One can also pay the fee through Challan mode. It is pertinent to mention here that the registration fee is non-refundable in nature. BHU UET Exam Pattern

All the applicants preparing for the BHU UET 2021, should have basic knowledge about exam pattern and syllabus. Candidate must know that syllabus for every paper may differ as per the concerned course. Check the following information with regard to BHU UET exam pattern:

  • The exam is an offline exam i.e. pen and paper-based exam.
  • Date of entrance exam may differ course to course.
  • BHU UET 2021 test paper will also be different from each other.
  • Total 150 questions will be there in the exam.
  • Questions will be objective type questions.
  • Each question will be of 3 marks.
  • 1 marks will be deducted for the wrong response.
  • The duration of the entrance test will be 2.00 hours.

BHU UET Exam 2021: Important Instructions

The candidates are recommended to go through exam instructions given in the information bulletin. Candidates can check BHU UET 2021 exam instructions below to avoid difficulties during the exam:

  • During the test, the invigilator will provide question booklet and answer sheet separately.
  • Questions will be multiple choices in nature and hence, each question will have four options where candidates need to encircle the correct response.
  • There will be negative marking in the BHU UET exam. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong attempt while for the correct response, 3 marks will be awarded.
  • No mark will be awarded for the un-attempted question.
  • Use Blue/Black ball point pen only for attempting the questions. Candidates are recommended to avoid overwriting or any type of correction in the answer sheet.
  • Carry admit card on the day of exam otherwise, it would be tough to get the entry in the examination hall.
  • Also carry identity proof such as Voter ID Card, Aadhar Card etc.
  • After 30 minutes from the commencement of the exam, no one will be allowed to enter in the exam hall. Candidates will also not be permitted to leave the exam hall till the completion of exam hours.

BHU UET Admit card 2021

  • BHU UET 2021 admit card is likely to be available in the month of March 2021.
  • Candidates can obtain the admit card from the official website of the BHU.
  • BHU UET admit card will consist of crucial information like candidate’s name, course name, test centre address, exam timing and instructions to the candidates.
  • Candidates have to log in at the official website through registered user ID and Password.
  • Download the admit card and keep it safe till the end of admission process as it is also required at the time of counselling.

BHU UET Result 2021

The University will publish the result of BHU UET 2021 on its official website probably in the month of June 2021. BHU UET result of each programme will be available on different days. The result will include qualifying status, score, and overall marks. Candidates can obtain their result by login their account using user ID and password. BHU UET 2021 Merit List

After the conduct of the exam, the Banaras Hindu University will prepare the BHU UET merit list 2021 on the basis of candidates performance in the written exam. BHU UET Cut Off 2021

The candidates should know that the Banaras Hindu University will consider the BHU UET 2021 cut off for allotting admission to the undergraduate programmes. It is expected that the University will announce BHU UET cut off in the last week of June 2021. Basically, the cut off marks are the minimum qualifying marks in the exam. Banaras Hindu University will consider candidates written exam score, the category of the candidates while preparation of the BHU UET merit list.

Those who secure the cut off marks will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission. However, the university will issue separate notification for counselling schedule for undergraduate courses.

BHU UET Counselling 2021

After the declaration of the BHU UET 2021 result, the competent authority will invite eligible candidates to attend the counselling process on scheduled date and time. The candidates have to attend counselling for the respective course as per the official dates. Candidates must obtain minimum qualifying marks in the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test for admission in the desired course.
