Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu will announce the tentative schedule of the TNTET 2022 exam on its official website. The TNTET 2022 exam is likely to be held in the month of June 2022. TNTET Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must go through the eligibility requirement in order to ensure the eligibility to appear in the Tamil Nadu TET 2022 Exam. - Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Age limit: No upper age limit for TNTET.
Paper I Qualification
- The applicants should have completed Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Higher Secondary with not less than 45% marks and have passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002. OR
- One who has completed Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) will be eligible. OR
- Higher Secondary with not less than 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR
- Applicants must possess graduation degree and have completed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
Paper II Qualification
- A Graduate who have passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education will be eligible. OR
- Graduation degree holder with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) programme. OR
- Any graduate with not less than 45% marks in the graduation and have completed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) programme as per the NCTE Regulations. OR
- Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) programme. OR
- Applicants who have passed Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks and completed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. Programme. OR
- A Graduate with minimum 50% marks and have completed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education) programme. OR
- Anyone who has qualified B.Ed. programme, as per the NCTE rules will be eligible to appear in the TNTET.
Tamil Nadu TET 2022 Application Form
The eligible candidates can apply online as per the prescribed rules. Registration process will be held through online mode. It is expected that the application process will start from the month of May 2022. Check guidelines with regard to the application form below:
- The application form will be available online on the official website of the Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamil Nadu i.e. trb.tn.nic.in.
- Applicants need to fill all the details including personal information, academic qualification and correspondence address etc. in the application form.
- Ensure that all the entries made in the form should be correct and true.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed manner.
- Candidates also need to pay registration fee to complete the registration process.
- It is mandatory that the applicants should have valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
- Submit application form at the end and take printout of the same for future reference.

TNTET 2022 Admit Card
The applicants need to follow certain steps in order to download the TNTET admit card from the official website. Check following information with regard to the TNTET admit card:
- The Tamil Nadu TET admit card will be issued through online mode.
- Candidates can obtain the same from the official website.
- Enter User ID and Password in the given field and click on submit button.
- Download the admit card and take printout of the same for further reference.
- Admit card will contain information such as candidate’s name, father name, address, date of exam, venue of the test and other instructions for the exam.
- If there is any discrepancy in the admit card, candidates can approach the competent authority for correction or any help.
TNTET 2022 Result
The result of Tamil Nadu TET 2022 will be declared on the official website in the due course of time. Candidates can obtain the TNTET result easily from the website. It is expected that the TNTET result will be declared in the month of July/August 2022. The candidates need to enter roll number and date of birth for downloading the result. Result will be available in a PDF file. Download the result and take printout of the same for future reference.
