SSC SI CAPF 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is solely responsible to organize the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). It is an all India level entrance exam. The commission will conduct the examination probably in the month of May 2022 for which applications will be invited in the month of January 2022.
The examination will consist of a written examination i.e. Paper-I, Physical Endurance Test (PET) and medical test followed by Paper-II. Qualified candidates of Paper-I, PET/PST and a medical test, will be eligible to appear in Paper-II. SSC SI CAPF Eligibility Criteria
To appear in the SSC SI CAPF 2022 exam, candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the SSC. Before making an online application, candidates are advised to ensure their eligibility. The salient points are:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. The crucial date for age count is 01.01.2022. Age relaxation to the candidates under the reserved category will be applicable as per the norms.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
Note: Persons with the disability will not be eligible to apply SSC SI CAPF 2022.
SSC SI CAPF 2022 Application Form
- Candidates who are willing to join Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces and CISF as Sub-Inspector or Assistant Sub-Inspector, can apply for SSC SI CAPF 2022 exam.
- The online application link will be available at the official website of SSC in the month of January 2022.
- The application process will be completed in two parts i.e. the registration part and the application part.
- Candidates have to fill in all the details correctly and carefully.
- After submitting the application, do not forget to take the printout of the application form.
Application Fee: Male candidates belonging to the general category, have to pay Rs.100/- only as an application fee. The fee can be paid through SBI Challan, Net Banking and Debit/Credit Card. The registration fee will not be refunded in any case. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.
Note: To avoid any unfavourable circumstances, candidates are advised to apply online well in time before the due date.
Exam Pattern
The exam pattern and syllabus in respect of the SSC SI CAPF 2022 exam are summarized herein below:
- SSC SI CAPF exam will be held in online mode i.e. computer-based exam.
- The exam will be completed in three stages i.e. Paper-I, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/Medical Test, Paper-II.
- Questions in both Papers will be multiple-choice questions.
- Paper-I will be of 200 marks having 200 questions. 50 questions each from (i) General Intelligence and Reasoning, (ii) General Knowledge and General Awareness, (iii) Quantitative Aptitude and (iv) English Comprehension.
- Paper-II will also have 200 questions having a weightage of 200 marks.
- The syllabus of Paper-II includes English Language Comprehension.
- The exam duration of Paper-I & Paper-II will be 2.00 hours.
- In both papers, there will be negative marking and 1/4th marks would be deducted.
SSC SI CAPF Admit Card
The Commission will issue the admit card to the eligible candidates prior to the SSC SI CAPF 2022 examination. The candidate may get the admit card probably two weeks before the exam. SSC will not send the admit card through the post, it has to be downloaded through official website only. On the day of the entrance exam, do not forget to bring the admit card.
Answer Key
Answer key of the SSC SI CAPF question papers will be published on SSC official website after completion of the exam. One can calculate the marks by matching answers. It is very helpful to the students to judge the probable result so that they can prepare for further stages. However, if someone has an issue with any particular question and its answer, then they can challenge the same within the stipulated time frame.
SSC SI CAPF 2022 Result
The Commission will declare the result of SSC SI CAPF at the appropriate time and will put the same on the official website. After the declaration of the Paper-I result, successful candidates will be called for PET/Medical test and thereafter, qualified candidates will have to appear in Paper-II. The final result will be prepared on the basis of performance in Paper-I and Paper-II.
