Punjab JET 2022 Counselling may commence from July 2022. The State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh will organize the web-based online Counselling for polytechnic admission in the State of Punjab. - The students should know that the competent authority is conducting web-based online Counselling from the last week of July 2022.
- It will be completed in two rounds for which candidates have to register first.

Punjab JET Counselling 2022: How to Register
The candidates can check here necessary instructions for participating in the Punjab JET 2022 Counselling process for admission in the desired Polytechnic programme:
Online Registration
The candidates need to visit the official website of the State Technical Education Board. Registration can be done through online mode only (link will be provided below). Candidates have to enter each and every detail asked in the registration page and proceed for further step.
Choice Filling Process
After online registration, one needs to enter the choices of colleges & courses as per the preference. All the eligible candidates must submit the registration form within the stipulated time frame. There is no restriction on choices, candidates can select as many as choices in the form.
Seat Allotment Result
The competent authority after assessing the candidates’ eligibility will announce the seat allotment result. It will be announced after a few days of the Choice filling process.
Candidates have to access the official website and enter the Application number/roll number for login and download the seat allotment result/letter.
Candidates have to report to the allotted college as per the scheduled date and time. Pay the requisite admission fee to lock the seat. If any candidate failed to report to the allotted institute then his/her candidature will be cancelled.
Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Those who qualify for the further round as per the seat allotment result must visit the allotted college within the given time period. Candidates have to pay the admission to lock or acknowledge the allotted seat. The competent authority will also verify the candidate’s document during the admission process. As stated above, if any student failed to pay the fee or failed to report the college then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected.
State Wise Seat Allocation
- It is very important to mention here that the 85% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Punjab State and remaining 15% seats for other state candidates.
- Those who passed the 10th standard from a school situated in the Chandigarh can also get admission under 15% quota in the Punjab State.
- Candidates passed from the other State & Punjab can also seek admission under 15% quota in the colleges situated in the Chandigarh.
Punjab JET 2022 Admission
The competent authority will follow the current reservation policy of the Government of Punjab and Chandigarh for admission in all the diploma courses.
All the candidates have to produce the relevant document in original during the admission to ascertain the eligibility for the course selected. Must report to the allotted college in person and complete the admission formalities.
