• Delhi Nursery Admission 2023 process will commence online soon.
• For those, who are seeking admission under the EWS category, the annual income of the family should not exceed 1 Lakh.

Nursery Admission Age Limit

• Nursery Admission: up to 3 years
• Pre-primary: 3 to 4 years
• Primary (Class 1): 5 to 6 years

Note: The age of the students should be as of 31st March of the admission year. Apart from meeting the age limit criteria, school and residence distance will also be considered for seat allotment.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: Application Form

The Delhi Nursery admission application form will be available online. However, it depends on individual schools how they are inviting application forms but most schools invite application forms through online mode. • The parents can access the application form of the different public schools from their respective websites.

• The schools will assess all the applications for preparing a rank list.

Delhi Nursery EWS Category Admission Process

The EWS category admission in nursery classes in Delhi State is likely to commence in the first week of January 2023. Generally, most nursery admission starts in the month of January. The guidelines in this regard will be updated in the month of December 2021. After applying under the EWS category, the list of selected candidates will be updated later on the official website.

The parents can check the official website for results or merit lists. There is no need to visit the school for information regarding the result as all the schools will publish the result on their official website. 25% of seats in each private school will be reserved for disadvantaged groups. • Certificate issued by the Government hospital to those with special needs.
• Documentary proof for the Orphan and Transgender category
• Certificate for HIV-affected child.

EWS category

• Income certificate issued by the competent authority i.e. an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
• BPL/AAY/ Food Security Card issued by the concerned department of the Delhi Government.
