Maharashtra TET 2022: The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (Maharashtra TET) 2022 exam will be organized by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination, Pune. The aspiring candidates should know that two papers will be conducted in the Maharashtra TET exam. One paper is for the primary level (1st to 5th class teachers) and another one is for the upper primary level (6th to 8th class teacher. Maharashtra TET Eligibility Criteria

 For Primary Level (Class 1st to 5th)

• Candidates must pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education/ 2-year diploma in education (Special Education) OR
• Applicants must clear the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education (As per the regulation of NCTE) OR
• Candidates having a bachelor’s degree along with a 2-year diploma in elementary education can also apply.

For Upper Primary Level (Class 6th to 8th)

• Aspirants who clear the 10+2 exam with at least 50% marks and having a 4 years B.El. Ed/ B.A. Ed/ B.Sc. Ed degree are eligible.
• Graduate candidates having minimum 50% marks with 1 year B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) can also apply.
• Applicants having a Bachelors’s degree with 45% marks and 1 year B.Ed as per the regulation of NCTE are also eligible.

Maharashtra TET 2022 Application Form

• The council has released an application form for Maharashtra TET 2022 on its official website i.e. https://mahatet.in/.
• To start the application process, the aspirants need to register themselves.
• After registration, the candidates will get their login credentials.
• Then, the applicants may sign in and fill in all the required details including personal information, academic qualification and correspondence address etc. in the application form.
• The candidate’s photograph and signature are also needed to be uploaded in the application form.
• In order to complete the application form submission, the aspirants need to pay the necessary application fee.
• After completing all the steps, candidates should take the printout of the filled-in application form.

Application Fee

The payment of the registration fee or application fee is a mandatory requirement, which everyone must pay. The payment can be done through online modes such as net banking, debit card or credit card. After making payment, candidates should take receipt of the payment done for future reference.

Maha TET 2022 Admit Card

• The registered candidates can download the admit card from the official website.
• Important information like the date, timing, venue of the exam will available on the admit card.
• It is expected that the admit card will be available at least two or three weeks prior to the exam date.
• All the candidates need to carry the Admit Card to the examination Hall. Otherwise, the authorities will not allow them to appear in the exam.
• Also, carry a photo identity proof along with the admit card.

Maharashtra TET 2022 Result

• The Maha TET 2022 result will be announced online mode at the official website of the Maharashtra State Examination Council.
• For checking the result, an applicant needs to provide his/ her roll number along with the date of birth.
• Aspirants who will score more than the qualifying marks will get the Maharashtra TET certificate.
• The validity of the TET qualification certificate is 7 years.

Maha TET Selection Process
