Maharashtra Polytechnic 2022: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra will release notification admission in Maharashtra Polytechnic programmes for academic session 2022 soon at the official website. It is also referred to as 1st-year Post-SSC Polytechnic Diploma in Engineering/Technology admissions in various Government and Private polytechnic institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates of Maharashtra State/Jammu & Kashmir Migrant/children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries can apply.
  • The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • Candidates must have passed SSC (Secondary School Certificate) or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 35% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates must attain the age of a minimum of 14 years. No upper age limit for the applicant.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Application Form 2022

First of all, ensure eligibility to apply for the concerned course. The applicant must submit the application form before the last date. You need to purchase an official application kit with an information bulletin from an authorized Facilitation Centre. You have to pay the necessary application fee to purchase the application form.

Application Fee

  • Candidates need to pay the application fee of Rs.400/- in the case of the general category.
  • Reserved category candidates need to pay Rs.200/- only.
  • OCI/PIO candidates have to pay the requisite application fee through online modes such as net banking, debit card and credit card.

Maharashtra Polytechnic 2022 Merit List

The DTE, Maharashtra will release a merit list for Post SSC diploma admission at the official website after assessing all the application forms. Candidates can check their results online by providing their application number and date of birth. Take the printout of the result for future reference.

Calculation of marks at the qualifying exam for ascertaining eligibility:- Here is the important information which is followed while calculation of marks as under:

  • After two places of decimal, rounding of percentage will be done while calculation of percentage.
  • If there is a grading system at SSC/HSC or equivalent exam, then the applicants have to provide the certificate of conversion of letter grades stating equivalent marks issued by the concerned authority during submission of the application form. Thereafter, the eligibility criteria will be taken into consideration on the basis of marks equivalent to Grades.
  • If an applicant reappears in the qualifying exam then his/her latest marks will be taken into consideration.

Maharashtra Polytechnic 2022: Important Instructions

  • Candidates can download the official information bulletin for more details on Maharashtra Post SSC polytechnic diploma courses.
  • The applicants can avail the list of institutes given the status of Facilitation Centres (FCs) and Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) from the official website.
  • If candidates want to stay with already opted options for CAP Round I or II then the already opted and confirmed options will be taken into consideration for allotment in further rounds.
  • All the applicants need to produce the original documents for verification and confirmation during the submission of an application form at FC. Everyone must keep ready important documents during the documents verification.
  • General, SBC/OBC, VJ/DT, NT category candidates have to Rs.3000/- for seat confirmation as it is the Seat Acceptance Fee. While SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- only. This payment has to be made on the first report.
  • The Seat Acceptance or Confirmation fee will be paid at Admission Reporting Centre via online mode only.
  • If someone could not confirm an online filled application form at FC, then such an application form is liable to be rejected and the candidate’s name will not be displayed in the merit list.
  • In the case of backward class candidates except for SC&ST, candidates have to produce a non-creamy layer certificate during the verification of documents at the Facilitation Centre. The certificate should be valid till 31st March 2022.
  • If candidates failed to provide a non-creamy layer certificate then such candidates will be treated as General category candidates and their claim of the reserved seat will be rejected.
  • Application forms received after the due date of the application form from the J&K applicants will be rejected and in this regard, no correspondence will be entertained.
  • Applicants who are J&K migrants will get a receipt-cum-acknowledgment after confirmation of the application form through login.
