AYUSH NET 2022: Notification, Application Form, Eligibility, Exam Dates

AYUSH NET 2022: The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) under the Ministry of AYUSH will conduct the AYUSH-National Eligibility Test 2022 probably in the month of November 2022 for screening the eligible candidates for the award of Ph.D. fellowship (SRF) in respective AYUSH streams i.e. Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy.

The CCRAS will hold this examination on behalf of all the Research Councils namely Central Council for Research in Unani Medicine (CCRUM), Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN), Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) and Central Council for Research in Siddha (CCRS). Interested candidates can submit the application form within the prescribed time frame.

It is important to mention here that the UGC has mutually recognized AYUSH NET and UGC NET for admission to the Ph.D. Programme in the subjects covered under AYUSH except for those subjects in which UGC Is conducting NET such as “Yoga”. Accordingly, AYUSH Ministry has requested all the Universities to exempt AYUSH NET qualified candidates from their own entrance test for admission to Ph.D. Programme.

AYUSH NET 2022 Exam: Notification

The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences/Ministry of AYUSH will release the official notification for AYUSH NET 2022 exam on its official website.
Aspirants can submit the application form from the 3rd week of September 2022 onward.
The applicants can apply online till the 1st week of October 2022. Candidates should submit the application form before the last date.
The AYUSH NET exam 2022 is likely to be held in the month of November 2022.

AYUSH NET Eligibility Criteria

The essential qualification for the fellowship are as under:
Post Graduate MD/MS-Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy and
Post Graduate MD(Y/N) or Graduation (BNYS) with at least 5 years’ experience in Yoga/Naturopathy.
The upper age limit of the candidates for applying for the award of fellowship shall be 32 years for SRF as of 01.01.2022.
Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC(Non-creamy layer)/PH and Female candidates) will be eligible for 5 years of relaxations.
PH (Lower locomotive disability only) candidates shall get additional 5 years relaxation in the upper age in case of SC/ST category and 3 years in the OBC(NCL) category.
However, candidates belonging to the reserved category have to produce the relevant certificate for availing of reservation benefits.

AYUSH NET 2022 Application Form: Registration Process

The candidates, who are eligible as per the criteria mentioned above, can submit an online application form for AYUSH NET 2022 exam for Ph.D. fellowship (SRF) in the concerned AYUSH streams. We recommend candidates, go through official notification and read all the information very carefully. The AYUSH NET registration will be held online from the 3rd week of September 2022.

Candidates have to provide personal information, academic qualification and correspondence address in the online application form. Pay the requisite application fee to complete the registration. Also, upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format. Submit the application form at the end and take the printout of the same for future reference. AYUSH NET Exam Pattern

There will be a single question paper for the test.
The exam will be held probably in the month of November 2022.
All the questions will be multiple choice in nature.
There will be two sections in the exam i.e. Aptitude Section (Part-I) and Subject Specific Section (Part-II) where both the sections are compulsory to attend.
Each question will carry one mark.
Negative marking is applicable in this exam where 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong attempt.
The question of both sections will be in the English language only.

AYUSH NET 2022 Admit Card

The competent authority will release the admit card through online mode to the eligible candidates for appearing in the entrance test. Candidates have to take the printout of the admit card using the application number and date of birth from the official website. You must bring the admit card for AYUSH NET 2022 exam on the scheduled date to take the exam.

It is also important to mention here that after downloading the admit card, candidates should ensure whether the particulars of the admit card are correct or not. If there is any discrepancy in the admit card, then report the same to the concerned authority i.e. CCRAS.

AYUSH National Eligibility Test 2022: General Instructions

Candidates before submitting the AYUSH NET application form should ensure eligibility for the exam.
Aspirants must submit an application form within the prescribed schedule.
Payment of application fee is mandatory, an incomplete application form will not be considered.
There will be no TA/DA granted to the candidates for appearing in the exam.
The candidature of the candidates is strictly provisional till the date of joining.
The questions paper will be available in the English language only.
The competent authority has the right to change the examination centre.
Candidates must carry admit card on the day of the exam otherwise the competent authority will not permit them to enter the exam centre.
Candidates should have a functional e-mail ID and mobile number for any communication.
