APTET 2021: Andhra Pradesh TET Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Date

APTET 2021 notification will be published online on the official website. The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh being the exam conducting authority will release notification in this regard. The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is state level entrance test for awarding teacher eligibility certificate to the eligible candidates. The candidates seeking teaching sector jobs at primary (class 1 to 5) and upper primary (class 6 to 8th) in the state of Andhra Pradesh have to qualify the APTET exam. There will be two papers i.e. APTET Paper I and APTET Paper II for primary and upper primary level. Candidates have to apply within the prescribed time limit. APTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The Andhra Pradesh TET eligibility criteria are different for both Paper-I and Paper-II as given below:

For Paper-I (Classes I to V)

  • The candidate should clear the 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and must possess a 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2-year diploma in education (Special Education). Or
  • Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (Special Education)/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) as per the guidelines of NCTE.

Note: SC/ ST / BC/Differently abled candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks.

For Paper- II (Classes VI to VIII)

  • Graduate candidates with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/ BC/ Differently abled person) and a B.Ed/ B.Ed (Special Education) degree can apply.
  • Aspirants having a B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks can also apply (45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently abled candidates).

APTET Application Form 2021

The applicants should go through official information brochure to know the application process and other crucial information. First of all, all the interested candidates must ensure the eligibility to appear in the exam and thereafter proceed to make an application form.   • The Andhra Pradesh TET 2021 application form will be available online on the official website.
  • The official website of the APTET is http://cse.ap.gov.in.
  • Visit the above mentioned website and obtain the Andhra Pradesh TET 2021 Notification.
  • After reading all the relevant information regarding the exam go for submitting online application form.
  • The applicants have to provide personal information, academic qualification details, correspondence address including e-mail ID and mobile number etc. in the application form.
  • Also upload the recent passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed manner.
  • Pay the requisite application fee through online mode such as net banking, credit card or debit card.
  • Check all the particulars entered in the application form and if there is no correction then submit the application form.
  • After submitting the application form, candidates must take printout of the confirmation page for future reference.

Application Fee

The Andhra Pradesh TET application fee is Rs. 500/- for each paper (same for all the applicants).  Payment can be done through online mode using net banking, credit/debit card. It is pertinent to mention here that the payment of registration fee is a mandatory requirement hence, must pay the fee to complete the application. Keep receipt of the payment for reference if required.

Andhra Pradesh TET 2021 Exam Pattern

  • Mode of Exam: APTET exam is an online test based on Computer.
  • Number of Questions: 150 questions will be there in each exam.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  • Maximum Marks: 150 (Each question will carry 1 mark).
  • Duration of Examination: There will be 2.30 hours to solve the paper.
  • Marking Scheme: No negative marking applicable.

Andhra Pradesh TET 2021 Admit Card

  • The applicants can obtain the Andhra Pradesh TET admit card from the official website.
  • In order to download the admit card, the candidates need to enter application number and date of birth in the given field on the website.
  • Applicants may contact Joint Director, TET of Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam in case of a discrepancy with the admit card.
  • It is mandatory to bring the admit card for appearing in the exam otherwise he/she may be denied to enter the exam centre.
  • Keep the admit card safely even after completion of the exam.

Andhra Pradesh TET 2021 Result

  • After completion of the exam, the competent authority will prepare the result and the same will be published on the official website.
  • Candidates can access the APTET 2021 result online on the official website.
  • To check the APTET result, candidates have to enter their roll number and date of birth.
  • The minimum qualifying marks that a candidate needs to score to be considered passed in this exam are as follows:
    • General Candidates: 60% marks
    • BC: 50% marks
    • SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) & Ex-servicemen: 40% marks
  • Successful candidates will be awarded by Teacher Eligibility Certificate which will remain valid for 7 years.
