AP LAWCET 2018: Andhra Pradesh Common Entrance Test is a state level law entrance exam for the students who want to study three year or five year law courses. Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur conducts the examination on behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. Candidates seeking admission in LL.B courses can apply for AP LAWCET 2018 entrance exam. AP LAWCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

All the candidates must fulfil the eligibility requirements before applying for AP LAWCET 2018 entrance exam. Candidates found ineligible at any stage of examination, will be treated as ineligible for admission. The eligibility requirements are:

  • Applicants should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates seeking admission in LL. B. (3 year course), should have completed three years graduation degree course from a recognised university.
  • For admission in LL.B. (5 year course), candidates should have completed 12th standard or equivalent exam from any recognised board.
  • Candidates should have secured at least 45% marks aggregate in case of candidates belonging to unreserved category.
  • SC/ST candidates must obtain at least 40% marks aggregate in qualifying exam.
  • There is no upper age limit prescribed.

AP LAWCET 2018 Application Form

  • The AP LAWCET 2018 application form will be available on official website.
  • Application form can be submitted via online mode only.
  • All the details should be filled correctly in the application form.
  • Candidates have to upload their recent photograph and signature at the space provided.
  • To complete the admission, candidates need to pay requisite application fee.
  • After fee payment, submit the application and take at least one print out for future reference.

Application Fee

  • All the candidates have to pay Rs.450/- as application fee.
  • Application fee can be paid through Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card.

AP LAWCET 2018 Exam Pattern

All the candidates are recommended to start preparation according to the exam pattern.  Check the AP LAWCET 2018 exam pattern below:

  • The questions of AP LAWCET entrance exam will be multiple choice questions.
  • There will be total 120 questions in the paper.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark.
  • One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
  • Language of paper will English and Telugu.
  • Duration of exam will be 01.30 hours (90 minutes).
  • Negative marking will not be applicable.
Syllabus

The syllabus of the exam will include General Knowledge & Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Law Aptitude. Subject may change as per the wish of competent authority. Candidate should practice reasoning, numerical ability.

Admit Card

The admit card for AP LAWCET 2018 exam will be issued to the eligible candidates prior examination. Candidate can download the admit card from official website. Admit card will contain the information regarding candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, exam centre etc. One cannot enter into the examination hall without having a valid admit card issued.

AP LAWCET Result

Candidates can check their AP LAWCET 2018 result on official website. The result will be declared probably in the month of June, 2018. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the applicants in the written exam. Successful candidates will go through counselling for further admission process.

AP LAWCET 2018 Counselling
  • On the basis of merit list, candidates will be invited to attend the counselling.
  • The counselling process will commence probably in the month of June, 2018.
  • It is mandatory to appear in the counselling otherwise they will not be considered for admission.
  • Admission will be finalised on the basis of merit list, number of seats available, choice filled and subject to verification of the original documents.
