The JEXPO 2022 Counselling process is likely to commence in the 2nd week of August 2022. JEXPO Counselling 2022: Registration Process

The students have to go through certain steps in order to complete the registration for the JEXPO 2022 counselling process. These steps are as below:

Step 1: Registration:

  • First of all, visit the official website i.e. https://jexpo.webscte.co.in/
  • Now click on the “New Registration” link.
  • Fill “Enrollment Number” & “Index Number” and then click on the “Proceed” button.
  • Candidates can edit the personal information if required, otherwise, proceed for further steps.
  • You should check the personal information carefully before clicking on the “Confirm” button.
  • Now, you can set a password of your choice and then click on submit button.

Step 2: Student Login

  • Candidates have to access the “Student Login” section.
  • Now fill the “Enrollment Number” & “Password”.
  • Click on the “login” button.

Step 3: Choice Filling

  • Now candidates have to fill choices of colleges and courses in the choice filling form.
  • Visit choice filling section of the official website.
  • We recommend candidates to fill choices very carefully as per the preferences.
  • Candidates should fill institute and course one by one in the form.
  • One can fill the maximum number of choices from the available options as it will increase the probability to get admission.
  • After filling up the choices, click on the “Save” button.
  • One you made final choices, click on the “Lock” button to lock the choices.
  • You should take the printout of the choices filled for future reference

Step 4: Seat Allotment Result

  • The competent authority after assessing the data will publish seat allotment result few days after the choice locking.
  • The Seat Allotment Result will be available online on the official website.
  • However, candidates will also receive information regarding Seat Allotment on registered Phone number via SMS.
  • It is important to mention here that the Seat Allotment will be done purely on the basis of candidates’ rank choice filled and seat availability etc. factors.
  • The candidates must download the seat allotment letter from the official website for reporting to the allotted college.

Step 5: Reporting at the Allotted College/Institute

  • Candidates should read all instructions given in the seat allotment letter carefully.
  • Everyone who is eligible as per the Seat Allotment Result must report to the allotted college/institute in person along with supportive documents such as allotment letter and educational certificates.
  • The competent authority will verify all the documents before final admission.
  • The candidates must pay admission/seat booking fee of Rs.500/- within the specified time limit. However, candidates have to pay admission fee separately.
  • Those who failed to attend to the institute/college, their candidature for admission will be cancelled.

Seat Reservation

The State Government will follow the current reservation criteria for admission in polytechnic courses in different Government/Private Polytechnic institutions. Candidates can check the reservations criteria under various categories in the table below:

Documents Required for Verification/Admission

  • Two copies of the Seat Allotment Letter cum Money Receipt
  • Admit Card of 10th or equivalent examination
  • Mark Sheet of the 10th or equivalent exam
  • JEXPO 2022 Admit Card
  • Category Certificate (If applicable)
  • Medical certificate
  • Anti-Ragging Affidavit
  • Voter Card, Aadhar Card etc. as Identity proof
