APTET 2022: Notification, Application Form, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus, Exam Date

APTET 2022 exam notification will be released online on the official website. The Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh will soon invite the online application for Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 or APTET 2022. Qualifying for the APTET exam is mandatory for the candidates in order to apply for the post of teachers (class I to VIII) in the state of Andhra Pradesh.  The Department of School Examination under the Government of Andhra Pradesh will conduct the two papers in this exam i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Paper-I is for those applicants who wish to be a teacher of classes 1 to 5th.

APTET Exam 2022: Notification

  • The notification for Andhra Pradesh TET (APTET) 2022 exam will be released online on the official website.
  • APTET 2022 application form will be released online probably in the month of August 2022.
  • Candidates who want to appear in the exam must submit the application form before the last date.

APTET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for both Paper-I and Paper-II as given below:

For Paper-I (Classes I to V)

  • The candidate should clear the 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and must possess a 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2-year diploma in education (Special Education). Or
  • Aspirants must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks and a 2-year diploma in elementary education/ 2-year diploma in education (Special Education)/ 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) as per the guidelines of NCTE.

Note: SC/ ST / BC/ Differently abled candidates will get a relaxation of 5% marks.

For Paper- II (Classes VI to VIII)

  • Graduate candidates with 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/ BC/ Differently abled person) and a B.Ed/ B.Ed (Special Education) degree can apply.
  • Aspirants having a B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed. Degree with at least 50% marks can also apply (45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently abled candidates).

APTET 2022 Application Form

  • The application process of Andhra Pradesh TET 2022 will take place online through the official website (http://cse.ap.gov.in).
  • Visit the official website as mentioned above for applying online.
  • Candidates have to enter their academic and personal details in the application form.
  • In addition to the details, applicants have to upload their photograph and signature in a proper format.
  • An application form will not be considered valid unless the aspirant pays the necessary application fee.
  • Note down and keep the reference ID safe after submitting the application form. Also, take a printout of the application confirmation page for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 500/- for each paper (same for all the applicants).  Payment can be done through online mode using net banking, credit/debit card. Keep the receipt of the payment for reference if required.

APTET Admit Card/Hall Ticket

  • Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official website.
  • In order to download the admit card, the candidates need to provide their application reference number.
  • Applicants may contact the Joint Director, TET of Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam in case of a discrepancy with the admit card.
  • It is compulsory for every aspirant to have the admit card with him while appearing for the exam.
  • Keep the hall ticket safely even after the exam. Requests for the issuance of a duplicate admit card after the exam will not be entertained.

APTET Exam Pattern

  • Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 1 mark and there is no negative marking.

APTET Answer Key 2022

The competent authority before announcing the final result will release answer keys of the APTET 2022 exam via online mode. Candidates can visit the official website for accessing the answer key. Download the answer key from the website concerned and check carefully. After obtaining the answer keys candidates can calculate their expected score in the exam.

We recommend the applicants that if anyone found discrepancies in the answer keys, then report the same within the prescribed time limit. The final result will be declared separately.

Andhra Pradesh TET 2022 Result

  • After conducting the exam, authorities will publish the answer keys on the official website.
  • Then, the result of APTET 2022 will be announced in online mode.
  • To check the result, candidates have to enter their roll number and date of birth.
  • The minimum qualifying marks that a candidate needs to score to be considered passed in this exam are as follows:
    • General Candidates: 60% marks
    • BC: 50% marks
    • SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) & Ex-servicemen: 40% marks
  • Successful candidates will get certificates, which will remain valid for 7 years.
