The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Board has invited application form for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2020 (WBJEE 2020) from 18th October 2019. All the interested candidates should go through official notification. WBJEE 2020 Notification: Released

The notification for WBJEE 2020 exam has been released online on the official website.
Registration process has been started online from 18th October 2019.
Interested candidates can submit application form till 13th November 2019 (Registration link is given below).

WBJEE Application Form 2020: Important Dates

The official notification for WBJEE 2020 has been released by the concerned authority i.e. WBJEEB. Candidates can check crucial dates of WBJEE 2020 exam in the table below:

WBJEE Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should fulfil the eligibility conditions before making WBJEE online application. Check the following criteria to ensure one’s eligibility to appear in the examination:

An Indian citizen can apply.
Candidates must have cleared 12th class examination from a recognized board/institute.
Candidate should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
He/she should obtain minimum 45% marks in qualifying exam i.e. 12th Class exam to become eligible.
However, reserved category candidates should obtain 40% marks only.
As on 31st December 2020, candidate’s age should be at least 17 years.
No upper age limit is fixed for appearing in the entrance exam.
For Marine Engineering course, candidate’s age as on 31st December 2020 should be within 17 years and 25 years.

WBJEE Application Form 2020: How to Apply?

Aspirants who are falling within the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authority should apply online on the official website. The official website is http://wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates are recommended to follow the information mentioned below.

First, visit the official website of the WBJEE Board and obtain official notification.
Interested candidates can fill application form from 18th October 2019.
Aspirants can submit application form till 13th November 2019.
Read entire WBJEE information bulletin carefully.
Now click on ‘Apply Online’ link to fill an application form.
Fill the application form completely and correctly.
Now upload scanned images like the recent photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression.
Pay the application fee to complete the application making process.
Recheck the entire application form and submit the application.
Take the printout of the confirmation page or submitted application form for future reference.

Step-I Online Registration

All the applicants are required to access official website for making an online application. To make an online application form, candidates should register themselves first. Go on the official website and click the Register button.

Step-II Filling Up of Online Application Form

After getting registration ID, the candidate should go ahead for filling up of an online application form.
Keep all the documents ready for the purpose.
Fill all the details asked in the application form such as personal details, educational qualification and correspondence address.
Candidates must not conceal any information as it will affect your eligibility later.

Steps-III Upload Scanned Images

In this step, candidates have to upload their recent passport size photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression in the size and dimension given.
The photograph should be clean with white back ground.
The photograph should be a colour photograph. A blurred photograph will not be accepted.
Candidate should retain the same photograph (as uploaded with application) for future use like counselling, admission etc.
All the photographs should be in JPEG format.
The format of images, size and dimension should be as per the following criteria:

Steps-IV Examination Fee

Candidates have to pay requisite application fee after uploading the images as per the given instructions.
The candidates can pay application fee through net banking/debit card/credit card or in cash at Allahabad Bank using e-challan.
Candidates have to Pay Rs.500/ plus bank charges for appearing in the WBJEE 2020 exam.
There is no other mode to pay the application fee. The fee is non-refundable in nature

Steps-V Confirmation Page Printout

After going through all the above steps, candidates need to take the printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
If you will get the confirmation page, it means you have successfully submitted the application otherwise confirmation page will not be generated.
Keep it safe for future use because you cannot generate it again.

WBJEE Application Form 2020 Correction Window

The Board will open a correction window for the candidates who want to update their application form. However, it is not possible to amend registration data like name, father name, mother name and date of birth. Candidate can modify other information during the correction window. Once the correction window period gets over, one cannot change any particular in the application form. Applicants should be vigilant about the latest updates.
