Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirements to appear in the SSC MTS 2021 examination are mentioned below. Candidates have to fulfill the following before applying for MTS 2021 examination:
- Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India. He/she should be a subject of Bhutan or Nepal. A Tibetan refugee who came here before 1st January 1962 with an intention to settle here permanently.
- Age Limit: Age must be within 18-25 years as on 01.08.2021. Relaxation of age will be provided to the reserved categories as per the norms laid down.
- Date of birth mentioned in the High School (10th) certificate or equivalent exam will be taken into consideration.
- Educational Qualification: All the candidate must have passed High School (10th) exam from a recognized board/University. Candidate pursuing qualifying examination i.e. 10th will also be eligible subject to submission of certificates whenever asked to produce.
SSC MTS Application Form 2021
Job seekers who are fulfilling the eligibility conditions as stated above can apply for SSC MTS 2021 exam via online mode. The online application form will be available at the official website of the SCC i.e http://ssconline.nic.in. The candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website and go for applying online for SSC MTS 2021.
- Click on the SSC MTS 2021 online application link.
- All the details should be filled carefully and must ensure that all mandatory field should not be left blank.
- Upload the scanned passport size photograph and signature in JPG format with requisite size.
- Pay the application fee using Net Banking or through Debit/Credit Card.
- Submit the application form and take printout for future use.
Application Fee
- To complete the application form, general male candidates are required to pay Rs.100/- as application fee.
- The fee can be made through Net Banking or Debit/Credit card.
- The application fee is non-refundable.
- All female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the application fee.
MTS Exam Pattern 2021
- SSC MTS 2021 exam will consist of two papers i.e. Paper-I & Paper-II.
- Paper-I will consist of multiple choice questions while Paper-II will be a descriptive type paper.
- The question paper will be in both Hindi and English language.
- The duration of Paper-I will be 2.00 hours and Paper-II will be of 30 minutes.
- Paper-I will be of 150 marks having 150 questions.
- Paper-II will be of descriptive marks having 50 marks.
- There will be negative marking and 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer would be deducted.
- The syllabus for Paper-I will contain General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness.
- Paper-II will have Letter/Essay writing in English or any other language included in 8th schedule of the Constitution.
Note: Qualified candidate of Paper-I will be called for appearing in Paper-II. However, Paper-II is qualifying in nature.
SSC Admit Card 2021
Admit card will to be issued to the eligible candidates prior to the examination. One can obtain the same from the official website of the SSC. The information regarding the exam date and exam centre will be informed through admit card. It is necessary to bring the admit card while appearing in the examination. SSC MTS 2021 Result
Staff Selection Commission will declare the final result of SSC MTS 2021 recruitment exam probably in the month of November 2021. Written exam performance will be taken into consideration for making merit list. If anyone found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process, the candidature will be cancelled. Further, the successful candidate will have to attend the document verification process.
