The aspirants need to fulfill the basic minimum eligibility criteria for appearing in the SBI Clerk 2021 exam. The eligibility criteria will consist of the following key criteria:
Nationality
- Only Indian citizens can apply for the SBI Clerk exam.
Age Limit
- The minimum age of the candidates should be at least 20 years as on 1st January 2021.
- The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st January 2021. Therefore, candidates must have been born between 02.01.1993 to 01.01.2001 (both dates inclusive)
Age Relaxation
Those who are belonging to reserved categories will be eligible to seek relaxation in upper age limit. Candidates can check the following table to know the category wise age relaxation:

Note: Candidates seeking relaxation in upper age limit must produce supportive documents at the time of joining if qualified. Once the registration process completed, no change in the category shall be permitted. In this regard, the competent authority will not entertain any correspondence whether it is e-mail or phone.
Educational Qualification for SBI Clerk 2021
- Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any discipline or any equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the Central Government.
- Those who are having an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the passing date of IDD is on or before 1st January 2021.
- Candidates should be comfortable in speaking and wring English.
- The candidates who are appearing in the final Semester/year of qualifying exam i.e. Graduation are also eligible to fill the SBI Clerk 2021 application form provided they must qualify the exam and should produce the graduation passing certificate at the time of joining or document verification.
