RMS Chail Admission 2021- 2022: Eligibility Criteria

The students must fulfil the eligibility conditions in order to apply for admission to RMS Chail or any other military school. The eligibility criteria details are below:

Class VI Admission Criteria

• Only boys are eligible to apply for RMS Chail Admission 2021.
• Students’ age should be within 10 to 12 years as on 31st March of the admission year.
• One who has passed the 5th class exam from a recognized Government/private school are eligible to apply for Rashtriya Military School Chail.

Class IX Admission Criteria

• Male students can apply for admission in RMS Chail.
• The age of the students must be between 13 to 15 years as on 31st March 2021.
• Passed 8th class from a recognized government/private school.

Note: Students must be comfortable in English which is the medium of instructions in RMS.

• It is a pen and paper based exam.
• The class 9th exam will consist of two papers i.e. Paper I and Paper II.
• All the questions will be multiple choices in nature.
• Every question will carry 1 mark.
• Paper will be available in the English language only.
• Students need to score at least 50% marks for qualifying the exam.

RMS Chail Admit Card 2021- 2022

• The admit card for RMS CET 2021 exam will be available online on the official website.
• Candidates need to visit the official website of the RMS i.e. https://www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in/.
• Candidates need to enter their registration number and date of birth for downloading the CET admit card.
• Candidates should download the admit card from the website and take the printout of the same.
• Carrying admit card to the exam centre is mandatory.

Rashtriya Military School Chail Admission: Selection Process

The admission process of the Rashtriya Military School Chail will consist of the following three stages:

• Written Test: Candidates seeking admission in class 6th and 9th, will have to qualify a common entrance test. It is mandatory to score minimum qualifying marks in the entrance test for the further rounds of the admission process.
• Interview: Those who will qualify the written exam with minimum qualifying marks, will be invited to attend the Interview on the scheduled date and time. Interview for both class 6^th and 9^th classes will be held separately. Interview marks will be 20 and 50 for class 6th and 9th.
• Medical Test: A medical examination test will be performed before final seat allotment. Candidates must be physically fit and should meet all the parameter prescribed by the authority.
