Punjab TET Eligibility Criteria
The applicants before filling up the online application form must check eligibility criteria to ensure eligibility to appear in the PSTET 2022 exam. The candidates can check the following information with regard to the Punjab TET eligibility criteria:
Eligibility for Class 1st to 5th
- The applicants should have completed 12th standard or any equivalent exam with at least 50% marks and passed/ appearing (last semester) in a two-year diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Candidates having 45% marks at 12th level or any equivalent exam and passed/appearing (Last semester) in two-year Diploma in Elementary Education according to the NCEE, Regulations 2002. OR
- Those who are 12th passed with minimum 50% marks and passed/appearing in four years Bachelor in Elementary Education. OR
- 12th passed with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in two years of Diploma in Education. OR
- One who possesses a Bachelor degree or appearing in the last year of a two-semester Diploma in Elementary Education will be eligible.
Eligibility for Class 6th to 8th
- Candidates, who possess a Bachelor’s degree and completed/appearing in the last semester of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR
- Any graduate with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in one year B.Ed. degree course OR
- Those who are having Bachelor’s degree with minimum 45% marks and passed/appearing in one year B.Ed. as per NCTE’s norms and guidelines. OR
- Intermediate (12th) or any equivalent exam passed with at least 50% marks and qualified/appearing in last semester of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education. OR
- 12th standard or equivalent exam passed with minimum 50% marks and qualified/appearing in last semester of 4 years B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. Programme. OR
