PESSAT 2020: The PES (Peoples Education Society) University, Bangalore conducts entrance test for admission in various UG/PG courses of the University. The entrance test is popularly known as PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT). It is a university level entrance test through which eligible candidates can take admission in the desired course. The University will conduct the PESSAT 2020 exam in the month of May 2020 tentatively. PESSAT application form 2020 will be available probably in the month of October 2019. PESSAT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility requirements for the concerned course and then apply. They should download the PESSAT 2020 information brochure from the official website to check all the eligibility criteria in detail. However, some of the basic minimum eligibility criteria are:

  • Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • He/she must have completed intermediate (12th) or equivalent exam from the recognized university/institute.
  • They should have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subject in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks aggregate in the qualifying exam.
  • Age of the candidates should not less than 17 years and not exceeding 25 years as on 1st December 2020.
  • However, the eligibility criteria may differ from course to course, candidates are suggested to go through official information brochure.

PESSAT 2020 Application Form

The application form for PESSAT 2020 exam will be available on official website. Aspirants can fill the application form through online mode. Candidates can check the following information with regard to the PESSAT Application Form:

  • First, go for PESSAT 2020 registration and click on the register button.
  • Fill all the details given in the application form.
  • Candidates should have a valid e-mail ID and mobile number.
  • Candidate should re-check the application form before submitting the form.
  • If any irregularity found in the application form, the same will be rejected.
  • In order to make complete the application process, one needs to pay the requisite application fee.
  • There is no need to send hard copy of the application form to the concerned authority via offline mode.

Application Fee

  • Candidates have to pay Rs.1050/- as application fee.
  • Fee can be paid via online as well as offline mode.
  • In online mode, candidates can prefer net banking, credit/debit card for making payment.
  • However, candidates can pay through Demand Draft and Challan.
  • Demand draft should be made in favour of “PES University General Fund” payable at Bangalore.

PESSAT Slot Booking 2020

Once the PESSAT 2020 slot booking process gets over, candidates can obtain their respective admit card from the official website. Slot booking will commence from the month of April 2020 via online mode for B.Tech. course while for other courses it will start in the first week of January 2020.

Candidate can choose the exam date and time in slot booking process. The admit card will contain the information regarding roll number, exam date, and exam centre. The date and exam centre cannot be changed once selected.

PESSAT 2020 Result

  • The PESSAT result 2020 for B. Tech. course will be declared in the month of May 2020 tentatively.
  • Result for all other courses will be announced after one or two week after the exam.
  • The result will be available online on the official website.
  • Candidates can obtain their result using roll number and date of birth.
  • Take the printout of the result and keep it safe for future use.
  • Qualified candidates on the basis of the result will have to attend counselling for further admission process.

PESSAT Counselling 2020

Candidates shortlisted after the announcement of the result, will be invited to attend the counselling on the scheduled date and time. The authority will issue necessary updates in this regard on its website, hence, candidates should check official website time to time.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list which will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ written score and the interview. After allotment of seat, candidates will have to go through documents verification process. Original documents will be verified to ascertain the eligibility of the candidates before final admission.
