NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018: Interested candidates who are desirous to appear in the NEET PG 2018 exam should check eligibility criteria in detail before making application form. NEET PG Eligibility Criteria 2018: Important Highlights

Aspirants should check the prescribed NEET PG eligibility criteria in order to verify their eligibility to apply for NEET PG exam.  One can check the following highlights in respect of NEET PG eligibility criteria and accordingly can apply if found eligible:

  • Applicants must be a MBBS degree holder or provisional pass certificate recognized under provisions of IMCA (Indian Medicine Central Act), 1956.
  • Candidate should have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by MCI (Medical Council of India) or State Medical Council.
  • Applicants having MBBS degree from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible under All India Quota 50% seats.
  • However, the candidates who have completed MBBS from anywhere in India including these States under Central Government Pool are also eligible to make NEET PG application subject to submission of an affidavit along with application declaring that they were nominated by GOI.

  • Candidate also need to complete one year rotating internship programme on or before 31st March, 2018 as it is compulsory to be eligible.
  • Do not hide any information in respect of eligibility criteria as mentioned above while making application.
  • Any candidate found ineligible at any stage of NEET PG examination will not be considered eligible to appear in the examination or even after examination, his/her candidature will be cancelled.
  • Mere appearance or registration for NEET PG does not mean that any candidate is eligible to take admission in MD/MS courses in medical colleges.
  • At the time of counselling, candidate need to produce registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.

Notable Point

Candidates can appear in NEET PG entrance test only once in a particular year. Read the information bulletin from the official website. Apply within the stipulated time otherwise application may be rejected.
