NEET PG 2022: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG courses (NEET-PG) is a national level medical entrance exam for the aspirants who are preparing for MD/MS or PG diploma courses in the Country. NEET PG 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Those who want to apply for the NEET PG exam must satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority concerned. Check the following information with regard to eligibility criteria:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidate must have an MBBS degree from the recognized medical institute certified by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidate should have done a one-year internship programme on or before 31st March 2022.
NEET PG 2022 Application Form
Online registration for NEET PG 2022 exam will commence probably from the month of February 2022. Interested candidates have to access the official website for submitting the online application form. Everyone must ensure his/her eligibility as per the criteria laid down. Follow the steps mentioned below for submitting the application form:
- The registration process is likely to start from the first week of February 2022.
- Interested candidates can fill application form till last week of March 2022.
- First, access the official web portal for making the application.
- Complete the registration process by entering the required details. Fill application form details such as personal information, qualification details, and address etc. very carefully.
- Upload all the scanned documents like photograph, signature, photo ID etc. in the format prescribed.
- Remember, the e-mail ID and mobile number provided in the application form or registration form must be functional.
- After submitting all the particulars in the application form, candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee.
- In the end, candidates have to submit the application form and should take the printout of the same for future reference.
Application Fee
The application fee will be submitted only through Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking. Non-payment of the requisite fee, resulting into the cancellation of the application. The fee is as under:
-For General/OBC Candidates: Rs.3750/-
-For SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Rs.2750/-
Exam Pattern
Candidates who are planning to appear in the NEET PG 2022 exam must be aware of the exam pattern and syllabus. Here is the guide regarding the exam pattern:
- This exam is conducted in online mode (computer-based exam).
- The test paper will contain multiple-choice questions (MCQ) having four options. Out of which, only one answer will be correct.
- There will be 300 questions asked in the exam.
- The duration of NEET PG exam will be 3.30 hours.
- There will be no negative marking for NEET PG exam.
- The question paper will be in the English language only.
- All the questions will be of multiple-choice nature. Each question will carry 4 marks. Hence, the total marks of question paper will be 1200.
- Questions will be derived from the subject like Biochemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine, Radiodiagnosis & Radiotherapy, Paediatrician, Psychiatry etc.
NEET PG 2022 Admit Card
The Admit card for NEET PG 2022 will be available online on the official portal for eligible candidates prior to examination. Admit card can be downloaded from the official website by entering the required details. Admit card will contain the details like name, roll number, exam date & timing and exam centre.
Candidates have to bring admit card along with one photo ID card like PAN card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence etc. to appear in the examination. Without admit card, a candidate cannot enter the examination hall.
NEET PG 2022 Result
The Result of NEET PG exam 2022 will be declared by the competent authority probably in the month of May 2022. Candidate can obtain the result by accessing the official portal using their roll number/registration number etc.
Thereafter, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained and the Rank Card will be issued accordingly. The Rank Card is an important document, which will have the candidate’s score and the All India Rank.
NEET PG 2022 Counselling
On the basis of the NEET PG 2022 result, the eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process. The Directorate General of Health Science (DGHS) and Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will facilitate the process for 50% All India Quota seats. For the remaining 50% of seats, counselling will be done by State authorities. Final admission will be based on NEET PG score, choice-filled and number of seats available.
The candidates must keep ready all the relevant documents, as the competent authority will verify all the original documents during the counselling process. If anyone failed to produce relevant documents then his/her candidature shall liable to be cancelled. Admission will be allotted to the students purely on the basis of merit.
