NEET Exam Pattern 2021-22

The NEET 2021 exam pattern information is placed below for the aspirants. Candidates are suggested to prepare according to the following pattern.

  • Exam Mode: The NEET 2021 entrance exam will be held in offline mode. It will be a pen & paper-based test.
  • Subjects: NEET exam will contain the subject like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
  • Exam Duration: The exam duration will be 3.00 hours.
  • Number of Questions: The test will consist of 180 multiple choice questions having four alternatives with one correct answer.
  • Scoring and Marking Scheme: Each question will carry 4 marks and for every correct attempt, 4 marks will be awarded. 1/4th marks (One mark) will be deducted for attempting the wrong response.
  • If any candidate marks two responses to the same question, then the answer will be treated as incorrect and a penalty will be imposed.
  • Language of Question Paper: NEET exam question paper will be available in 10 languages i.e. Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
  • The candidate should exercise language options while filling up the NEET application form.
  • Those who opt for the English language will get the test booklet in English only.
  • Candidates opting the Hindi will get a test booklet in both Hindi and English language.
  • One who will opt any vernacular language will get a bilingual test book i.e. English and selected language.
  • In case of any ambiguity, the English language will be treated as final.
