Eligibility Criteria

For regular mode:
- Candidates with at least 50% marks in bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity or those with 55% marks in BE/ B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent are eligible.
For distance mode:
- Candidates with at least 50% marks in bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Humanity or those with 55% marks in BE/ B.Tech with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent are eligible.
- The applicants should be trained in-service teachers in elementary education working in a recognized school.
- Working teachers who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode are also eligible.
- Untrained teachers having two years of teaching experience must have the experience as a regular or temporary paid teacher in a recognized school. Experience for teaching Intermediate classes will not be considered as valid experience. Applicant must be serving as a teacher on the date of filling the application form.
Nalanda Open University B.Ed. Application Form 2022
- The application for Nalanda Open University B.Ed Admission 2022 will be released online on official website of the university www.nalandaopenuniversity.com.
- To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and educational information.
- The candidates will also have to upload their photograph and signature in scanned format into the form.
- Once all the details are filled into the application form, the candidates can submit it with the required application fee.
- The candidates are suggested to keep a printout of the application form in case of future reference.
Application Fee:
- For General candidates: Rs. 1000/-
- For OBC/ WBC/ EBC candidates: Rs. 750/-
- For ST/ SC candidates: Rs. 500/-
Admit Card
- The admit card will be released online on the official website of the university and can be downloaded using application details.
- In order to appear for the entrance exam, the candidates must carry their admit card to the exam center.
- The venue, time and shift of the examination will be communicated to the candidates through the admit card.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam in case of non-availability of the admit card.

Nalanda Open University B.Ed. CET Result & Counseling
- The result of the Nalanda Open University B.Ed CET 2022 exam will be declared online on the official website of university.
- On the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test, a merit list will be prepared.
- Candidates will have to attend the counseling process in the order of their merit.
- The candidates must carry their original documents at the time of reporting for counseling.
