Karnataka NEET counselling 2021 will start in the month of June 2021. NEET is a national level entrance exam which is the only gateway for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. The National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET 2021 exam in the month of February and May 2021. After the declaration of NEET 2021 result, counselling for admission in AIQ 15% seats and state counselling will start. Selection and Admission Process

Qualified candidates of the NEET 2021 exam have to through the counselling for admission in the desired college and course. The counselling process consists of various rounds till the vacant seats are left. All the admission will be made on the basis of merit. Candidates can check the following information with regard to NEET counselling 2021:

  • The applicants are required to register online on the official portal.
  • Fill all the details asked in the application form.
  • Candidates need to upload the scanned photograph, signature and other documents as per directions.
  • Pay the requisite counselling fee of Rs.650/- in case of general & OBC candidate and Rs.500/- in case of SC/ST candidate.
  • The payment of counselling fee can be done through Bank Challan or Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card.
  • Now the Karnataka State Authority will release a provisional merit list containing the name of NEET qualified candidates.
  • After the declaration of merit list, candidates have to go through documents verification.
  • The verification of documents will be exercised at different centres as per the directions of the competent authority.
  • All the applicants must carry original documents and photocopies of the same for verification purpose.
  • Candidates found eligible as per the verification, can fill options of the colleges. Candidates have fill choices online.
  • Seat allotment will be done on the basis of candidate’s choice filled, category, rank, and availability of seats.
  • Those who are not satisfied with their allotment can appeal within the specified period for making changes in their options.
  • After the final allotment, candidates can pay the fee and download the admission ticket from the concerned website.
  • In the end, candidates have to report to the allotted college as per the directions are given in the allotment letter.
  • Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the college.

Note: If any candidate failed to report the allotted college within the prescribed time limit then his/her candidature may be cancelled and seat shall be offered someone else in the hierarchy of merit.
