Jharkhand B.Ed. 2022: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) is the regulating authority for B.Ed. entrance exam in the State of Jharkhand. Candidates will be selected on the basis of the entrance test for Jharkhand B.Ed 2022 admission. After qualifying the exam, the applicants will be able to get admission into B.Ed degree course in different private & government colleges across the state of Jharkhand. It is important to mention here that 85% of the total seats are reserved for the applicants who have passed the qualifying exam from the state of Jharkhand or belong to Jharkhand State. Eligibility Criteria

• Aspirants with a minimum of 50% marks either in Bachelors degree or Master degree exam (Science/ Social Science/ Humanities/ Commerce) can apply.
• Candidates having a B.Tech/ B.E degree with a specialization in science & mathematics securing at least 55% marks are also eligible.
• Please note that applicants have to choose one subject in which they have passed the qualifying degree exam. They must have at least 50% marks in the selected subject. This subject will be considered as the teaching subject in the B.Ed course.

Note: There is no restriction of passing year in order to apply for the Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance exam 2022.

Jharkhand B.Ed. 2022 Application Form: Instructions

The aspiring candidates should know that the Jharkhand B.Ed application form can be submitted via online mode. Authorities will not publish any printed or offline application form. Hence, check the following information with regard to the registration process:

• To initiate the application process, the candidates have to visit the official website i.e. http://jcecvia eb.jharkhand.gov.in.
• The link to the official application form is available on the home page itself.
• The Jharkhand B.Ed. 2022 application form will be available online from the last week of March 2022.
• Candidates can submit the application form till the last week of April 2022 with all prerequisites.
• Aspirants should fill in the details in the application form very carefully and in a very accurate manner.
• Apart from the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned images of the passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression.
• Upload the scanned images of the following documents in the PDF upload section of the application form.
  • 10th class mark sheet and certificate
  • Graduation mark sheet
  • Postgraduate mark sheet (if applying on the basis of a PG degree)
  • NSS/ NCC “C” (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate of Jharkhand (if applicable)

Application Fee

The application fees for the candidates of various categories are as follows:

• General Candidates/ Applicants for outside of Jharkhand: Rs. 1000/-
• BC-I/ BC-II (of Jharkhand State): Rs. 750/-
• SC/ ST/ Female candidates (of Jharkhand state only): Rs. 500/- only.

Note: Mode of application fee payment is online using a debit card, credit card or net banking.

Exam Pattern

Aspirants may check the basic overview of the Jharkhand B.Ed 2022 entrance exam as given below:

• Number of Questions: Total 100 questions will be there in the exam.
• Maximum Marks: The question paper will be of 100 marks.

Jharkhand B.Ed. Admit Card

• The information regarding the exam centre and venue will be provided to a candidate through an online admit card.
• Admit card will be published 4 days prior to the exam date on the official website.
• In order to download the admit card, the candidates have to enter their details like registration number/ roll number etc.
• Please note that the board will not allow a candidate to appear for the exam without having a valid admit card.

Jharkhand B.Ed. 2022 Result/Merit list

• The board will declare the result of the Jharkhand B.Ed entrance exam on its official website.
• A merit list of successful candidates will also be released by the board for admission. In the merit list, the aspirants with more marks will get a better rank. If there is a tie, applicants with an NCC ‘C’/ NSS certificate will be ranked better.
• In order to download their rank cards, the applicants need to log in with their email ID & Password/ Date of birth.
• The final admission will be provided through counselling after proper verification of documents.
