JEE Main Tie Resolution Method for Paper-I

  • Preference will be given to those who score higher marks in Mathematics subject.
  • Thereafter higher marks in Physics subject will be considered.
  • Then the ratio of positive and negative marks will be taken into consideration.
  • If the tie still exists then the same rank will be considered.

JEE Main Tie Resolution Method for Paper-II

  • Preference will be given to those who score higher marks in Aptitude Test.
  • Then higher marks in Drawing Test will be considered.
  • The ratio of positive and negative marks will be examined to resolve the tie.
  • If the tie still exists, the same rank will be taken into consideration.

How to download JEE Main Result

Candidates have to follow some easy steps to obtain JEE Main result from the official website of the exam conducting authority. These steps are as under:

  • Access the official website of the exam conducting authority and click on the concerned link. (Link for obtaining result will be provided here)
  • A new page displaying result content will appear on the screen.
  • Now provide Roll Number and Date of Birth in the given field.
  • After filling up the required details, click on ‘Submit’ button.
  • The result will appear on the screen.
  • Check the result whether it belongs to you or not.
  • After checking particulars of the result, take the printout of the result and keep it safe till final admission. 

Date of JEE Main Result 2020

JEE Main 2020 offline exam is expected to be held in 2nd week of January 2020. Thereafter, the result of the JEE Main 2020 exam will be declared in the month of February 2020. Candidate’s All India Rank will also be declared. Post announcement of result, counselling process will begin where meritorious candidates will get the opportunity to appear in the counselling for admission. The JEE Main 2020 counselling is likely to start from the month of June 2020.
