INET 2021-2022: Notification, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Exam Date

The Indian Navy will publish the INET notification 2021-22 for officer entry in January 2021 course for short service commission for Indian Navy Entrance Test in different entries. Interested candidates can apply for officer entry through INET 2021 application form within the specified time frame. Only unmarried men and women candidates who are meeting the prescribed eligibility conditions can apply for the course commencing from January 2021 at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala.

Applications for officer entry in 10+2 B.Tech. July 2021 batch are also invited within the given time frame. Unmarried male candidates who are meeting the requirements can go ahead for INET 2021 application form for July 2021 course. Course will be held at Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala for a period of four year under 10+2 (B.Tech.) Cadet Entry Scheme. Indian Navy Entrance Test (INET) 2021-22

INET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must meet the INET eligibility criteria in order to appear in the Indian Navy Entrance Test 2021. Check here the detailed eligibility criteria below:

INET Application Form 2021

The applicants can register online on the official website of the Indian Navy i.e. joinindiannavy.gov.in. All the eligible candidates must fill the online application form within the specified time schedule. The candidates need to keep following things in mind while filling up an online application form:

  • The applicants need to access the official website of Indian Navy first.
  • Fill correct information with regard to the personal information as mentioned in the 10th standard certificate.
  • E-mail address and contact number must be correct and functional.
  • Candidates must scan the original documents such as 10th/12th certificates, degree certificate or marksheets, Commercial Pilot License issued by the DGCA, Government of India, passport size photograph and signature etc. which will be uploaded with the application form.
  • If there is any discrepancy in the scanned documents then the application may be rejected.
  • After submitting the application form with all prerequisites, candidates must take printout of the filled in application form.

Note: The applications are invited for only unmarried male and female candidates. Candidates will be selected for Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission. The application form which is not in order in any reason will be rejected as per the rule.

Application Fee

  • The applicants have to pay the registration fee of Rs.215/- through online mode.
  • Reserved category and women candidates are exempted from paying the fee.
  • Exam fee once paid shall not be refunded in any case hence, applicants are recommended to read all the conditions before applying online.
  • There is no vacancy reserved for SC/ST category. Only fee waiver is applicable to the reserved category candidates.
  • If candidate paid the amount but application number not generated due to any technical reason then wait for the 07 working days for refund of the money.

Points to be noted

  • The applicants should fill only one form.
  • However, eligible candidates can opt for more than one branches as per the preferences.
  • Applicants will be shortlisted as per the performance in the written exam for SSB interview.
  • The competent authority has all rights to reject the candidature of the candidate if anyone fails to prove the eligibility as specified in the application form.
  • Candidate must be physically fit as per the prescribed standard. In this regard, candidates can check detailed advertisement.

INET Exam Pattern 2021

  • INET exam will contain 100 objective type questions where candidate need to mark correct one.
  • Questions will be asked on the subjects like English, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Numerical Aptitude, Mathematical Aptitude and General Science.
  • Each question will carry 1 mark hence question paper will be of 100 marks.
  • Negative marking is applicable hence, do not attempt the questions based on assumptions.
  • The duration of the test will be two hours.

INET Admit Card 2021

The competent authority will issue the admit card or hall ticket to those who are eligible to appear in the exam. Candidates can access their hall ticket online on official website of the Indian Navy. Admit card will contain information such as candidate’s name, father name, address, date of exam, venue of the test and exam day guidelines etc. Candidates are recommended to go through the particulars of the admit card and if you found any discrepancy in the admit card then report the same within the specified period. Candidates need to enter registration ID and password for downloading the admit card. After downloading the admit cad, candidates should take the printout of the admit card.
