IGNOU OPENMAT Exam Pattern 2021: Important Highlights
Candidates can check the following information in order to know about the IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 examination pattern. The important highlights of the examination pattern are as under:
- The OPENMAT Exam paper will consist of four sections viz. General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English.
- The questions paper will consist of 200 multiple choice questions carrying 1 marks each.
- Therefore, the maximum mark of the question paper is 200.
- The duration of exam will be 180 minutes (3.00 hours).
- There will be no negative marking in the OPENMAT exam.
- Section-wise question number with maximum marks are as under:

IGNOU OPENMAT: Points To Be Noted
- IGNOU OPENMAT exam held twice in a year. The first exam is known as OPENMAT XLV and the second exam will be OPENMAT XLVI.
- The one who qualifies the IGNOU OPENMAT XLIV will be eligible for taking admission in semester commencing from January 2021 or July 2021.
- Similarly, the candidate who qualifies the IGNOU OPENMAT XLV will be eligible to take admission in July 2021 or January 2022.
- Candidate can appear any one of the OPENMAT Exam as per convenience.
- No request for change of examination centre will be entertained later hence be careful while filling up the application form.
- Negative marking is not applicable as mentioned above, the candidates should attempt the whole question paper.
- Keep subject wise preparation so that qualifying marks can be obtained.
- Starting solving easy questions first and use the remaining time to solve difficult questions.
- The candidate will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall without having valid admit card.
- Reach the examination centre before the commencement of the exam.
