IBPS PO 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The applicants are recommended to ensure your eligibility in order to appear in the IBPS PO 2021 exam. Check the following information with regard to the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality/Citizenship
(a) The applicant must be a Citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal/Bhutan or
(c) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India prior to January 1st, 1962 with an intention to settle down here permanently or
(d) an Indian origin person who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention to settle here in India permanently,
subject to the condition that the candidate belonging to the type (b), (c) and (d) above must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India as and when asked.
Age Limit Criteria
- The minimum age limit of the candidates should be 20 years as on 01.08.2021.
- The upper age limit is 30 years as on 01.08.2021.
- It means the candidate must be born within 02.08.1991 and 01.08.2001 (both date inclusive)
- Those who belong to the reserved category are eligible for age relaxation subject to the submission of the relevant documents. Check relaxation criteria below:

Note: If any reserved category candidate failed to produce the category certificate then his/her candidature will not be considered under reserved category. Such candidates will be treated as a general candidate.
Educational Qualification
- A Graduation degree holder in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification can apply.
- He/she must have the valid Mark Sheet/Degree certificate to ascertain the eligibility for IBPS PO.
- It is important to mention here that the candidate’s result should have been declared on or before 04.09.2021.
- Documents will be verified later during the interview process.
