IBPS Clerk 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants, who are planning to appear in the IBPS Clerk 2020 examination, must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by IBPS. The basic minimum eligibility criteria specified by the IBPS are:

Nationality/Citizenship

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India. He/she should be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came here before 1st January 1962 with an intention to settle here permanently.

Age Limit

  • Minimum age of the candidate as on 01.08.2020 should be 20 years and maximum should be 28 years.
  • Age relaxation will be given to the reserved category as per the norms laid down.
  • Date of birth mentioned in the High School (10th) certificate will be considered for age calculation.

Educational qualification

  • Candidate must possess a graduation degree in any discipline from recognized university.
  • He/she should have knowledge of computer operation.
  • Candidate should know about the regional language of State concerned.

IBPS Clerk Application Form 2020

Candidates, who are preparing to appear in the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2020, should fill the online application form at the prescribed time. They must ensure their eligibility in respect of the eligibility criteria cited above. The guidelines for filling online application form are as under:

  • Application form for IBPS Clerk 2020 can be submitted through online mode only.
  • The application form will be available on the official website at the appropriate time.
  • Candidate should have a valid e-mail ID & mobile number as it is a mandatory requirement for online registration.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2020

The IBPS Clerk 2020 exam will be held in two phase i.e Preliminary Exam and Main Exam. The candidates who will qualify the preliminary exam will be called for appearing in IBPS Main Exam. All the questions in the exam will be bilingual except English section. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of performance in written exam. Note: There will be a penalty for wrong answers in both Preliminary and Main Exam. 1/4th of marks will be deducted for each wrong response.

IBPS Clerk 2020 Admit Card

The admit card for IBPS Clerk 2020 will be available for the eligible candidate at the official website of the IBPS. Candidate can get the admit card from the official website. Information regarding exam date and exam centre will be mentioned at admit card. It is necessary to bring admit card along with while appearing in the examination.

IBPS Clerk Result 2020

The result will be available at official website for both the IBPS Preliminary Exam and IBPS Main exam. Those who will qualify the Preliminary Exam will be further called for appearing in Main Exam. Accordingly, the result will be declared at the appropriate time. Candidates need to check the result at official website time to time.

Cut-off Score and Provisional Allotment

The candidates are required to obtain a minimum score in each of the section in IBPS Main Exam. Cut-off marks will be fixed on the number of vacancies in State/UT wise and candidate will be considered accordingly for provisional allotment. It is important to know that marks scored in IBPS Main Exam will only be considered for making final merit list. In order to secure name in the merit list of IBPS, the candidate should score adequately high in IBPS Main Examination.
