HP PAT Application Form 2022
Candidates can submit HP PAT 2022 application form online mode only. Check the following guideline with regard to the HP PAT application form:
- Download the official HP PAT information bulletin 2022 before proceeding with submitting the application form.
- Go through the complete brochure carefully and check all the eligibility criteria in detail.
- The application form is likely to be available in the month of April 2022.
- Candidates should apply before the last date of the application form.
- You need to provide all the personal, education and correspondence address details carefully in the application form.
- The applicants have to make payment of the application fee to complete the application form.
- The photograph and signature in the prescribed format should also be uploaded.
- Remember, the photographs must be in JPEG format and as per prescribed dimensions.
- Submit the application form at the end and take the printout of the same for future reference.
Application Fee
- Candidates have to pay the necessary application fee amounting to Rs.650/- in the case of the general category.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates have to pay Rs.400/- only.
- Candidates can pay the application fee through online mode or SBI Bank Challan.
Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are recommended to go through eligibility criteria in detail and after ensuring eligibility for the concerned course, proceed with submitting the application form. The HP PAT eligibility criteria are as under:
Domicile
- Candidates should have a valid domicile certificate from the State of Himachal Pradesh.
Educational Qualification
- Qualifying Exam: 10th or equivalent exam pass from any recognized board/university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates should have obtained a minimum 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Subject: Science, Mathematics and English are mandatory subjects in the 10th class (qualifying exam).
Note: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam can also apply.
HP PAT Exam Pattern
Aspirants should collect proper information about the examination pattern in order to qualify the entrance test. The exam pattern includes various facts such as exam mode, type of questions, number of questions, marking scheme etc. Check the following information with regard to the HP PAT exam pattern:
- Exam Mode: It is a pen and paper (OMR sheet) based exam.
- Duration of Exam: The exam will be of 3.00 hours duration.
- Number of Questions: A total of 150 questions will be there in the exam.
- Type of Questions: All the questions will multiple choice in nature.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded.
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted as a penalty for each wrong attempt.
- Language: Questions paper will be in both Hindi and English language.

HP Polytechnic 2022 Admit Card
The authority will issue the admit card to the candidates before the exam. The HP PAT admit card is expected to be available in the month of May 2022. Take the printout of the admit card and keep it safe for the exam and admission process.

- The result is expected most probably in the month of June 2022.
- The competent authority i.e. HPTEB will also publish the answer key of the exam.
- The candidates must take a printout of the HP PAT 2022 result from the website for further admission process.
HP PAT Counseling
The HP PAT Counselling 2022 will be held through online mode and it may start in June 2022. The competent authority after declaring the result will publish the notification for the counselling process. Candidates must participate in the counselling process for final admission.
The counselling process may have multiple rounds as per the seat availability and other facts. Allocation of seats will be done as per the candidate’s preference given in the form. Candidates have to report allotted polytechnic institution for finalizing the admission process. The competent authority will also verify the original documents of the candidates.
