Haryana TET 2022: The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) is a state-level entrance examination administered by the Board of School Education, Haryana. Generally, the HTET exam is held every year for the selection of eligible candidates for the job of teaching. The HTET qualified person will be eligible for the recruitment process of various teaching jobs in government and private schools recognized by the Department of School Education, Haryana. HTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
- For Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I): Candidates for this category should have passed in Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 45% marks with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.Ed) / four years B.El.Ed / two-year Diploma in Education in Special Education are also eligible. OR Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
- For Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper-II): Candidates for this category should have Bachelor Degree (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com etc.) candidates with two years B.Ed. OR 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)/4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) With 50% Marks in BA or B.Sc. Both Appearing & passed Candidates are Eligible.
- For Lecturers of Class XI-XII (Paper-III): Candidates for this category should possess the Post Graduate (PG) Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi is one of the Subjects.
Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 and the maximum age limit is 38 Years for appearing in the HTET.
Haryana TET 2022 Application Form
- The Board of School Education, Haryana will publish HTET Notification 2022 on its official website.
- The registration process may start from the month of August 2022. All eligible and interested candidates should submit an application form before the last date.
- Haryana TET 2022 application form will be available online mode.
- Candidates have to visit the official website of the Board of School Education, Haryana for applying online application form.
- In the application form, you have to fill in all correct information like Name of Candidates, Parent’s Name, Address, Contact, Qualification etc.
- Also need to upload the images of photograph, signature and other required documents (if required).
- Make the payment of the registration or application fee through any preferred mode.
- Once the application is filled, candidates are suggested to take a hard copy of the application form for further reference.
Application Fee Details:
The candidates need to submit an application fee for completing the HTET application form. The category wise fee structure is given below:
- For General/UR Category: Rs.600/-
- Reserve Category: Rs.300/-
- For Other candidates and other states candidates: Rs.600/-
HTET Exam Pattern

Level 1- Primary Teacher for Classes 1st to 5th
- There will be multiple-choice questions in the exam where each question will carry 1 mark.
- 1 mark will be granted for every correct answer. No negative marking is applicable in this exam.
- Candidates have to mark the correct answer among the given four choices.
- The duration of the exam will be 2.30 hours.
- The syllabus of the paper will be as per the following manner:
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions
Languages: 30 Questions (Hindi- 15 Questions and English- 15 Questions)
General Studies: 30 Questions (Quantitative Aptitude- 10 MCQs, Reasoning Ability- 10 MCQs and Haryana G.K and Awareness- 10 MCQs)
Mathematics: 30 questions, Environment Studies: 30 questions
Level 2- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) from Class VI-VIII:
- All the questions will be objective type in nature and each question will be of 1 mark.
- For every correct answer, 1 mark will be granted to the candidate.
- The test duration will be of 2.30 hours.
- Candidates need to mark the correct answer among the given choices.
- The syllabus of the paper will be as per the following topics:
Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 questions
Languages: 30 Questions (Hindi- 15 MCQs and English-15 MCQs)
General Studies: 30 Questions (Quantitative Aptitude- 10 questions, Reasoning Ability- 10 questions, and Haryana G.K and Awareness- 10 questions)
Subject Specified as opted: 60 questions for 60 Marks
Level 3-Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):
- Questions will be objective type in nature where each question will carry one mark.
- For every correct response, there will be 1 mark.
- The duration of the exam will be two and a half hours.
- Candidates have to choose the correct answer among the given options.
- The syllabus of the paper will be as per the following main topics:

Qualifying Marks for HTET Exam
- 60% or 90 Marks: For all categories except SC, Differently abled or Physically Challenged of other States
- 60% or 90 Marks: For SC, Differently abled or Physically Challenged by other States
- 55% or 82 Marks: For SC, Differently abled or Physically Challenged by Haryana Domicile
Haryana TET 2022 Admit Card
The competent authority will issue admit card to the eligible candidates through online mode. Candidates can access the admit card from the official website. Admit card will be available online well in advance before the date of the exam. Candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth for downloading the admit card.
The admit card will contain crucial information like the name of the candidate, date of exam, venue of the test and exam instructions etc. It is mandatory to carry the admit card on the day of the exam otherwise you may be barred to appear in the exam. Also, carry identity proof to the exam centre. Candidates should reach the examination centre at least half an hour before the exam timing.
Haryana TET Result 2022
