Eligibility Criteria
The applicants must go through the eligibility requirements in order to apply for Gujarat TET 2022 exam. Check eligibility criteria requirements for primary and upper primary teachers:
Eligibility for Primary Teacher (Class I to V)
- The applicants must have completed senior secondary or its equivalent exam from a recognized institute with minimum 45% marks and passed or appearing in final semester of two year Diploma in Elementary Education/4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
- Senior secondary or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in final semester of two year diploma in Education (Special Education) OR
- Any graduate having completed or appearing in last semester of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Eligibility for Upper Primary Teachers (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation and 2 year diploma in Elementary Education (passed/appearing in final semester) are required OR
- Bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks and one year B.Ed. Programme OR
- Candidates having graduation degree along with 4 year bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/2 year Diploma in Special Education are also eligible.
