Gujarat NEET Counselling 2021 registration process is likely to start from the month of June 2021. The candidates, who are eligible as per the NEET 2021 result, can participate in the State Counselling. The ‘Admission committee for Professional Undergradaute Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) which constituted by the State Education Department, Government of Gujarat will organize counselling for admission in MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates should be aware that the State Government will conduct counselling for only 85% seats available in the Government and Private Medical Institutions. The students should complete the admission formalities as per the directions given time to time by the competent authority. Eligible candidates must register online for counselling in order to get admission in the desired medical course in the State. Candidates should have secured minimum qualifying marks in the NEET exam for participating in the counselling process. GET A PIN
- The applicants have to obtain a PIN from Axis Bank branch in Gujarat by paying Rs.200/- in cash.
- It is mandatory to obtain a PIN before online registration.
Online Registration
- After obtaining PIN, candidates have to visit the official website for online registration.
- Fill online counselling form and provide each and every detail carefully in the form.
- After filling up the counselling form, if anyone wants to correct or change the particular filled then he/she can contact any nearby help center or can call on the helpline number provided by the authority.
- However, the candidates should have the valid justification for making correction or modification.
- It is very important to mention here that there will be no other way to register for counselling except online mode.
Choice Filling Process
- The applicants are required to select the courses and colleges as per their preferences.
- We recommend candidates to fill maximum choices in the choice form so that chances of getting the seat can increase.
- After filling up choices, candidates should take the printout of the choice filled.
Verification of Documents
- The applicants after filling up the form successfully can proceed for the document verification process.
- The documents verification will be held various help centre.
- Candidates must bring all the original documents along with photocopies of the documents for verification purpose.
- If competent authority finds any discrepancy in the documents then the authority has all rights reserved to cancel the candidature.
Announcement of Merit List
- After document verification, the competent authority will prepare merit list as per the candidates’ performance in the NEET exam.
- The merit list will be made on the basis of All India Rank obtained by the qualified candidates.
Seat Allotment
- As per the merit list, the seat allotment result will be declared and accordingly published on the official website.
- The competent authority will prepare the seat allotment result as per the candidates’ rank secured, seats availability and category etc.
- The candidates must download the seat allotment letter from the website and should take the printout of it as it will be required for further admission process.
Reporting to the Allotted College/Institute
- The qualified candidates as per the seat allotment result need to report to the allotted college for getting admission.
- The applicants have to pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
- It is important to mention here that the nonpayment of admission fee will lead to the rejection of candidature.
Seats Reservation Criteria for admission in Gujarat
The students should know that the admissions will be made on the basis of current reservation rules followed by the Gujarat State. Reserved category candidates must produce supporting documents in support of their claim of reserved category candidate.
