GPAT 2022: The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national-level entrance exam for admission in the Masters in Pharmacy programme (M.Pharm.). The GPAT exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from the year 2019. Candidates can register for the GPAT exam through online mode. Those who are willing to pursue M. Pharm. GPAT 2022 Examination Dates
The aspirants can check the GPAT 2022 tentative examination schedule in the table below. After the release of the official notification, we will update the actual dates here. Candidates can start preparation for the GPAT exam as per the following schedule:

GPAT 2022 Application Form
The candidates can submit the GPAT application form via online mode only. All the candidates are recommended hereby that before proceeding with online registration, must the eligibility requirements and then go ahead. It is expected that the GPAT 2022 registration will start from the 3rd week of October 2021. Candidates should provide personal information, educational qualification, and address details clearly in the application form. Also, upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in a specified manner. Images must be in JPEG format. Candidates also need to make payment of the registration fee to complete the application form. At the end submit the application form and take the printout of the same for future reference.
GPAT Registration Fee:
- The GPAT 2022 registration fee will be Rs.1400/- for General/OBC candidates.
- SC/ST/PwD/Girls candidates need to pay Rs. 700/- only.
- Candidates can pay the registration fee online (net banking, credit/debit card) as well as offline (Bank Challan) mode.
GPAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should ensure their eligibility to appear in the GPAT 2022 exam before submitting an online application form. Check the following criteria with regard to GPAT eligibility criteria 2022:
- Nationality: The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
- Age Limit: No specific age limit is there for appearing in GPAT.
- Academic Qualification: Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2 including lateral entry) will be eligible.
- Appearing candidates are also eligible for the GPAT exam.
- Tech (Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Technology) or equivalent qualification will not be considered.

GPAT Preparation Tips
The GPAT exam is a National Level entrance test hence the number of applicants may be in lakhs. Hence, candidates have to secure a good All India Rank for ensuring admission in M. Pharm. Course. - Make a Study Time Table: It is very important to make a study timetable where the focus should be on each and every subject or topic. Candidates should follow the timetable for better preparation. Sometimes we have seen students make a timetable for their daily study but they did not follow the same. Hence it is very important to follow the routine study.
- Solve Previous Year Questions Paper & Mock Test: Candidates should collect the previous year question papers and solve them from time to time. It will give you confidence and this practice will be helpful during the exam. Mock tests are also helpful.
- Collect Good Books & Study Material: The student should collect good study books on GPAT and also prepare notes of the important topics. Revise important topics from time to time.

Admit Card
The candidates can obtain their GPAT admit card from the official website. It is expected that the GPAT admit card 2022 will be available online from the 1st week of January 2022. Candidates have to enter their registration number and date of birth to download the admit card. After downloading the admit card, take the printout of the same and keep it safe.
It is important to mention here that without having GPAT admit card, one cannot enter the exam hall or centre. Carry your admit card along with valid identity proof.
GPAT 2022 Result
The competent authority will declare GPAT 2022 result probably in the 3rd week of February 2022. Candidates can download their result from the official website easily. Enter your roll number and date of birth to download the result. On the basis of the result, candidates’ merit list will be prepared and an All India Rank will be assigned to each participant. The GPAT scorecard will be valid for the current academic session i.e. 2022-23 only.
GPAT Cut-Off
The GPAT cut-off marks are the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to be scored for getting admission M.Pharm. programme. The cut-off marks may be different for each year as it is decided on the basis of candidates who appeared in the exam, the score of the candidates and the number of seats available in the colleges. However, other factors such category of the candidates are also taken into consideration.
GPAT 2022 Counselling
After qualifying for the GPAT exam, candidates have to report the colleges providing M.Pharm. courses and should participate in the admission process of that particular institute in which they aspire to take admission. Based on the candidate’s score, the further decision on admission will be taken by the college authority. Candidates are recommended to check admission notification of the institution/colleges which are running M.Pharm. courses.
